16:03 It should be noted that Netanyahu supported the Gaza withdrawl and voted for it four times in the Israeli parliament (while some of his party members did vote against it). Only after it was a done deal he started talking against it, and resigned from the government shortly before it was implemented. BTW Dave is right, it was approximately 8,500 people. Dave is wrong with his analysis of Netanyahu's character though. If anything is certain to everyone in Israel, is that Netanyahu would have to be dragged kicking and screaming before he steps down. He spent his entire political career sowing division and pitting sectors of the Israeli public against each other for his personal gain. Even now he refuses to take any responsibility and writes twits blaming others for the tragedy. According to poles, a big majority of Israeli citizens don't trust him to lead the country at this crusial time, and with good reason. Another thing is that he consistently appointed only deadbeats to his governments, because he doesn't want outstanding people around him, but rather obedient suck ups who won't outshine him. This is why the entire public sector isn't functioning now, when its needed the most, and the load is carried mostly by NGOs and the many good citizens who volunteer their time and money. Other than that great conversation, thank you for supporting Israel.

“. . .I wanted to speak to you in light of all that’s going on in our world, and in particular, the atrocities that occurred over in the land of Israel. That is on everyone’s mind. We understand the horrors of it. It is, for some of us, unimaginable behavior and conduct, although it is nothing new in the world. And I was, really, asking the Lord to direct me in a particular way because there’s so many aspects and perspectives on what is going on in Israel and in the Middle East and in the conflict and the war that has begun. But as I thought about it, I began to list the things we could talk about and be informed by Scripture. We could look at this event and take a look at the Arab-Jew conflict, not only as it is today, but when it started back in the book of Genesis between Ishmael and Isaac, which was the beginning of this conflict. We could even look forward into the future, where this conflict will continue until the final battle of Armageddon. So it really goes from Ishmael and Isaac all the way to Armageddon. That is all of redemptive history. We also could look at the fact that through history God has preserved the Jewish people while at the same time punishing them for the rejection of His Son. That’s why our Lord looked at Jerusalem and said, “Your house is left to you desolate until you come to the knowledge of your Messiah.” We see the desolation of Israel. We could look at all the suffering of the people of Israel through the centuries in the desolation that was pronounced upon them because of their rejection of Christ, which still goes on today. We could talk about that. We could talk about preservation and punishment at the same time. We could talk about the fact that no nation will ever exterminate the Jews. It’s been tried through history; it will not succeed, because God has future plans for their salvation and their kingdom. We could also talk about the desperate wickedness of the human heart, what it is capable of-such atrocities. But we have to remember this: that killing babies is nothing new. We do it here before they’re born, but it’s the same crime. And even going back in history, Israel was guilty of offering their babies to idols, sacrificing their own children. Atrocities are nothing new in human life. We could talk about the desperate wickedness of the human heart,, and how it’ll go as far in its wickedness as society will allow for it or as ideology or culture will permit. We could also talk about the fact that Israel has a right to retaliate-that when you are struck with such fierce aggression and death is the result, you have a right to retaliate. I think about 1 Samuel chapter 30, where the Amalekites came into the land of Israel and they took away all the women and children-kind of a kidnapping-and the people of Israel gathered together collectively and pursued them and slaughtered them as a result of that, for the future protection of their own lives. We could talk about the fact that the Bible says the government has a sword, and a sword is an instrument of death, and it wields it in the case of evildoers. We could talk about the words of Jesus: Live by the sword, die by the sword. We could also talk about the evil of false religion. False religion is Satan at his best, if you can use that term. False religion is not noble; false religion is demonic and satanic, and we see that played out in Islam. We would talk about the character of Islam itself. In its purest form it is violent, and the Quran calls for murder, slaughter, as expressing the will of Allah. And people are motivated to do it because in Islam, if you kill the infidels or offer yourself as a martyr in some attack on the infidels, you go to heaven, and that’s in their own literature. They’re motivated by the most carnal kinds of desires. You would think that some of them would have a conscience, but the conscience is informed by the culture’s morality; and if God, or you believe to be God, tells you to kill infidels, then that’s the noblest you can do. That’s why they start training their children in elementary school to that end. We could also talk about the fact that what we’re seeing in the Middle East now is a preview of Armageddon, the final, great battle that takes place in and around Israel and Jerusalem. And we will talk about that in our study of the book of Revelation. While all of those are important, and things that need to be understood biblically, there is a universal issue that I think is most relevant to everyone. As I thought about the approach I might take,, I was reminded of the fact that Jesus faced a similar massacre. And you ask the question, “What did He have to say about that? Did He talk about history? Did He talk about sociology? What did He talk about? Did He talk about the future of Israel? Did He talk about anything in the past of Israel? Did He talk about human wickedness? No, He focused on one great reality that involves everyone. And so that’s what I want to draw to your attention and let Him be our teacher. It’s Luke 13, Luke 13. No one escapes the personal application of this perspective, and our teacher is the Lord Himself." Listen on... John MacArthur
@Veritas200087 ай бұрын
What an excellent point about all of this because it is a story about “ALL OF THIS”! I’m excited to go read Luke 13! Fact is that we have a generation that has not heard the good news of the gospel so they rage like wild beasts in every direction. Nothing makes sense because they call evil good & good evil! They have lots of knowledge but absolutely NO WISDOM! Parents have let this generation down & not taught them scripture or take them to meet regularly with groups of believers to be taught & learn to do life together. But also something majorly shifted in 2020. You could feel a new sense of pure evil slithering in & taking out as many humans lives & minds as it possibly could! I felt it as soon as Biden took office in January! I sensed death coming to America in a way it hasn’t probably since the civil war! His first act as president was to kill massive number of great paying careers for thousands that worked on the pipeline in Texas, which lead to so many more deaths & even more to come because of all the purely evil things that have been happening to America since. -boarder wide open -homelessness, poverty to all Americans being replaced by Government spending to house, provide food, monthly stipends, cellphones, medical care, schooling, all at zero cost to foreigners & huge cost to Americans. -they 9-12million invaders also are doing governments bidding which is really Satan’s bidding by causing mass chaos in the streets to draw ppls attention away from the truly pure evil things ppl or demonically possessed ppl in this current government are doing -sex trafficking babies, children & woman to be used as sacrifices or sex slaves or just slavery which is evil enough! -drugs that are killing, & taking over the minds of millions of ppl from young to old -completely try & wipe God, his believers out of society! -enticing everyone with lies & deceptions of Satan which far to many Christians are falling to! -yes, we know we do not fight against flesh & blood but against rulers, principalities, evil in the heavenly realms! We must begin to preach the saving message of the gospel again, loud & clear. To many it will be folly but to some it will be the message of hope they’ve been waiting to hear & will lead them to salvation!

Simplifying it to people being "pro-Hamas" is a useful tactic to ideologues who can't actually argue their arguments out below a shallow surface; and then they don't have the attention span or patience, or perhaps not even yet the critical thinking ability, to actually sit through all of the shallow arguments that are brittle to be exposed for them. It's similar manipulative language as saying someone is "anti-vaxx" or "pro-abortion" vs. "pro-life" etc; ironically then there is the double-standard used, a similar blurring of the lines for Israel to hide under the wool coat to play victim attempting to make "anti-Israel" akin to anti-Semite - rather than anti-Zionist and anti-innocent humans being slaughtered - of which the most long-standing and sophisticated, best funded propaganda machine has successfully manufactured consent of an ideological mob [including the intelligent ideologues now exposing themselves being captured by this sophisticated propaganda] - to think innocent lives being slaughtered in response is acceptable; it's not acceptable. This lack of integrity with words is the first failure, first line of defense, in justice occurring - of the truth, whole truth, and nothing but the truth coming to light; "The first casualty in war is the truth."

You are right, its as simple as Palestinians are indigenous to the region, and are being forced out of their own land by Israeli Jewish people that should know better after thousands of years of the same treatment, and now they visit that terror upon Palestinians, and have done for generations. An illegally occupied country with borders and checkpoints that encroach further into Arab territory, and the dehumanizing of a whole nation, making Arabs appear less than human, and after 70 years of hate crimes by both sides, this war seemingly has no end. Hollywood cucks side with Israel, well of course, its a money pipeline for Jewish folks, so of course they would, the cowards are afraid of that cancel button, meanwhile if you have ever visited Jerusalem, you would perhaps see 1st hand the racism, hatred, and sheer intolerance displayed by Israelis towards Christian and Muslim Palestinians. You would also see the disparity between the numbers of Israelis killed by Arabs, and the amount of Arabs killed by Israelis, its a diabolical. Arabs throw a stone, Israelis commence air strikes. Israel has all the money, power, influence, and yet they are the one sending mass terror to a nation of poor, cut off, isolated Arabs. They turn off water, power, internet, they control the fate of Palestine as if they are Kim Jun Un of North Korea, they act like dictators, they are breaking international laws, and are only going to be judged by their God come clocking out time. The irony of two holy nations, with arguably the most valuable religious buildings and landmarks in the world, fighting with each other, as if God will be pleased by it, I am not religious myself, but it sure sounds contradictory to a belief in God, to raise your kids to hate, to kill, and to die for this 4 generation long war. Israel only exists because of British intervention, and yet Britain does not stand for the victims, the Arabs of Palestine, and makes me ashamed of my English heritage. Hamas is vile, I agree whole heartedly, but war is vile, and on and on it goes, and guess what, when Hamas is finally dismantled, up will pop the next radical group, because the war, is all they have got. Im sorry, but if you think that Israel have a moral imperative, and an Arab Palestinian does not, you are ignorant. My love is for Palestine and Palestinians, and I hope their plight ends soon. I hate no nation, I have no hatred in me, and I just hope that both sides can find peace one day, the Israeli Jew and the Palestinian Arabs are more similar than they are different, similar foods, music, culture, same uni-eye brow, same same same. You could almost call them cousins, even brothers and sisters...perhaps they need to be teaching the similarities to the young, instead of the differences, so that the hatred is the only thing being killed, instead of the young and old and infirm. Peace will prevail somehow, someday.

bryan, 4:12 wokeness is marxism. you are simply defining marxism in a classic sense. marxism has evolved via the frankfurt school. marxism is the exact same thing as wokeness, cultural marxism, ideological subversion, psychological warfare, active measures, or critical theory. they all mean the same thing, which better fits my modern definition of marxism. marxism is classically tied to the economic system of a nation, but that is deceptive. marxism never works in practice for a variety of reasons. to the people that understand this, marxism is simply a way to gain power, specifically, marxism has become a method for a minority of people that understand its failures to take power for themselves, with full realization that it will not work, but they will be part of the political elite that does not suffer the patterns of the failing marxist systems which are famine, slavery, and mass murder. im available to talk more if you like.

Why giving lands to people who came from europe ?
@WorshipinIdols Жыл бұрын
@@manofwar2354 Because they own it. You see, unlike the Muslims and Arabs who conquered they places where they live now before persecuting the People that dwelled their before them, the Jews immigrated peacefully and purchased their lot. No one asked the Arabs no give up their property, it would have been theirs in the new democratic country’s. The Arab culture however required them to lord over and dominate the “other” and they believed that it was beneath them to be in a minority status. Your argument only has meaning if u assume the state that was going to be created will be an Arab national, Islamic dictatorship in which the minority will be persecuted the way that it is in all Muslim and Arab nations. And it makes sense that when this is the only way that you know how to live you would project it on others. So the Arabs wanted to be the one persecuting instead of being persecuted. LOl. But the Jews have every right to that land and much more. Not least for all the repetitions that the Muslim Ummah owes the Jews for their barbarism over the last 1309 years.

@@user-tk1lf5hi6f 💯 percent I understand. I’ve delved deep into this conflict going back to faysil and Lawrence of Arabia and also on the Jewish people who were living in Hebron and many areas before 1948. Starting from the battle of tel hai to the nebi musa riots in 1920 and the Jaffa riots not long after that. This conflict didn’t start in 1948 it’s been brewing long before that including in the writings of Islam where Muhammad drove out the Jewish people from Medina because he had a dream they would attack him. “A dream!” I say all that to say I don’t come at this from a lack of understanding my friend I’ve took the time to understand both sides. It’s a complicated issue and anyone who thinks it’s simple is lying to themselves. I get the hatred. Both sides have committed wrong from the get go. The Irgun and stern gang and also the Arabs that slaughtered 60 some Jews in Hebron who had nothing to do with what was happening in the early stages of this conflict. It’s not simple. But how can anything be achieved by more and more violence? More and more hatred? Is there not a great good reason to let go of past hurts from both sides? Everyone in the world can hold a grudge for some thing that’s happened to them every one has a reason to hate someone else but is it the answer? I don’t believe so. Nothing will change in the Middle East unless forgiveness is taken seriously and blame stops being pointed at each other. Both sides have a cause but hate is definitely not the answer.

@BryanCallen @DaveRubin American Jew I living in Israel. I was in Yeshiva. This may sound unbelievable, but Orthodox Judaism also has a lot of groups within it (similar to how you have Catholics, Protestants, etc). I work, I pay taxes, I haven’t served in the IDF, etc. Most black & white garbed Orthodox Jews don’t serve in the military (and are even against it), are disinterested in the military side of politics, and aren’t typically involved in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. They also have a few political parties, NOT one, and unfortunately those parties are often in disagreement. (Us Jews, go figure.) The more modern sections do serve in the military, pay taxes, etc. They also aren’t extremist regarding religious-political actions, although views do vary, but not to the extremest degree. Of all groups, there is a minority of minority (arguably around 1% of Israel’s population) that you are referring to as “fundamentalists” interested in war. In all reality, no Orthodox Jew views them as Orthodox Jews, any more than Jews for Jesus are seen as Orthodox Jews. If I may say, living here for 16 years, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is made up of many elements and many groups, and religion is hardly the primary reason. If you need any sources, please feel free to pm, or check my facts. 👍🏻

Anyone who backs Palestine right now just believes whatever nonsense they read, or what's more likely, is that they hated Jews and Christians to begin with and this is just another excuse to go against us. There's 100% no justification for what those people do. They just hate us. End of story. But then again, we always knew this is how it would go. It sucks and we must stand strong and lean heavily on the father. And for what it's worth, idk if you're Jewish or what, but only speaking of my own experience, I have been in Jesus actual precense. I'm not talking about a metaphor or some stupid form of speech, the man has been by my side. He is our only way. In fact, the moment Israel calls on Jesus, it will be over. Israel will reign victorious forever. The further you go, the even more it makes sense. In fact, if you can read Hebrew, I highly recommend you read the Hebrew stuff because it makes even more sense. I mean every last word is perfect. He's in all of us already. We just have to allow him to take control. Love you brother. We'll be alright. Were God's own people.

you glance over many key points. how the Israelis practiced terrorism in 1948, how Palestine was 97% Arab , how Baruch Goldstein killed 30 people in a mosque in Hebron and that preceded the first suicide bomb . the Israelis concern of being demographically outnumbered and how it shapes there policies. you can easily cherry back from a chain of events to make it convenient to a narrative and both sides do that. one thing I notice is people like to assume all Arabs are the same and all jews are the same and that Arabs aren't discriminated against in Israel itself. ironically for the people who say Israel has a right to exist, the idea of a one state for all sounds extremely threatening.

Well the serial killer metaphor falls apart straight away because if the police said we’re gonna indiscriminately kill your whole village because you’re a killer, then that wouldn’t be okay. It’s the collective punishment of Palestinian people are protesting over. When Isreal say from the river to the sea, which they have been for decades, it’s not a call for genocide apparently but when Palestinians or their supporters say it it all of a sudden is. Isreal are the occupying force here and committing genocide as we speak. And why is it pro Israel supporters say I’ve been to Israel and there is no occupation but they never say they’ve been to Gaza?

See the thing with Dave is that he's a regurgitate-tor, he doesn't have his own points, at least points he's concluded on. Hence why he will just assume ZERO regulation as the way to go if less regulation is a good thing.
