@Nick-exZ9 ай бұрын
This couldn't be further from the truth. Even though I have been watching K&G for a long time now, the videos on the Ukranian war are framed as blatant propaganda in favour of Ukraine. Meanwhile, this series is far more "tame" in comparison. It isn't ideal but the maker has the right to present their views, they just shouldn't be treated as objective. It's sad how many people just swallow whatever content they get that tells them without actually getting any context on any events.
@austindsouza73499 ай бұрын
@Nick-exZ you're only saying it's time because you don't agree with their views on this "spat". Everyone has a bias, essentially when talking about historu but thete is absolutely no devate that by the standards and definition stated by the UN and the orginator of the term "genocide" Israel is in fact commiting genocide, additionally the zionist movement is fascist in nature as well as imperalist, expansionist, and the entire objective of the israeli state is to create settler/colonial relations. Look how they are assassinating hezbollah members daily, goading them into a war so they can have full international support from the west by having hezbollah do some start of large scale attack, which they probably Won't because they know israel will use it for mass weapons shipmetjs and funding, and will allow them to defend yet another genocide. Israel will likely invade lebanon, seeing as their previous attempt got them a very large strip of land for their Christian proxy forces, they will want to do something similar like what they are going to do in gaza, they will create some "party" of spineless israeli puppets, who instead of defending Palestinians will assist in their genocide (just like the PA in the west bank) They already openly are admitting their are planning on another nakba, and are setting up a forced exile of 700,000 Palestinians to Egypt by force on both ends. So when you say "no bias, be neutral" you can not in good faith. That's like saying be neutral towards the nazis.

Well, biased wouldn't be the word, but K&G is clearly relying on the view of Israel's officials only, for example: 1. One of Israel's famous news papers (well established ones) are recording and keeping track of the deaths/injuries of their soldiers and mentioned a huge number like 10 times the numbers mentioned by officials yet K&G failed to mention these reports, they only mentioned the official ones and just stating that the probability that the numbers could be low 2. Mentioning that the IDF showing videos of clashes, I didn't see a single Hamas solider in their videos only videos of them firing walls/stones/land (invisible soldiers) and btw in a very high quality resolution and the soldiers are very calm as a if it was a training (not to say a war). on the other side Hamas shows videos with very poor quality captured most of the time by the soldier firing the missile (more realistic), thus taking cover after the firing, yet K&G (even though they are usually very keen for tiny details) failed to mention that and btw Hamas spokesman doesn’t announce destruction of hundreds of tanks only a handful of them and he states "completely or partially destroyed" 3. Not mentioning even for once how the released hostages from Hamas (the devious) were in a very good shape even with their pets especially after the indiscriminate airstrikes and stated while being very safe (not under threats) how Hamas soldiers treated them very well and shared food with them and even medicine while hundreds of released Palestinian hostages were and are with bruises from tortures and rape/harassment for women/girls 4. K&G didn't mention the dozen of videos made by IDF soldiers mocking the death of Palestinians and their empty houses and bragging about bombing house and facilities as a part of their propaganda and psychological war 5. K&G failing to mention even for once that Gaza doesn't have any air defense system not even an army, so treating this as a war is a crime in itself And of course K&G didn't talk much/shade the light on how the US supporting Israel with literally everything, while focusing/stressing on Iran's support of Haouthis/Hezbullah a bit more

War sucks no matter which side you support, and its always the civilians who end up paying the steepest price.

The entire Region knows they're radical scum standing in the way of normalization, which the other Islamic nations want. Iran and terror organizations are not victims. They create victims. Someone also needs to explain one day how helping Gaza was ever leading to any good. Look what they've done with the money . This video feels weirdly like an introductory or setup video for a longer series which is going to cover a much larger scale international conflict. Like, here's the initial small scale war which theoretically shouldn't have to get any bigger, and here's how the situation is slowly leaking out to affect global concerns, and here's how the dominant powers are mismanaging it all. Maybe it's just me but it feels like the prelude to a violent, chaotic, and complicated restructuring of the world order.

Not a restructuring of world order but a large scale regional war is definitely what it is preluding to and it's not really a surprise. The entire middle east has been setting up for such a showdown ever since Israel started existing and the fight would be between Israel's alliance and Iran's alliance. The palestinian situation has been at the core of the issue and so now that Hamas has escalated the situation, the diplomacy that had been keeping the region relatively stable is failing.

It certainly feels like that's where we're heading eh? Honestly, I think it comes down to the USA giving up on the post-Cold War dream of a Neoliberal world order. They've got energy independence now and aren't interested in securing ME energy for Asia and Europe, they're pulling manufacturing back from East Asia, and recognizing that Europe is a dying region in both demographics and relevance. So all these conflicts that were frozen by the 'world police' since the 90s or so are happening at once as the Americans continue to signal that they are done propping up the world economic order for the benefit of others. Things like the Houthi strikes is the USA trying to clean house on their way out of the Middle East and we can expect to see a lot more frozen conflicts explode into full war without the spectre of American intervention weighing over the world. Since the 2016 isolationist swing, we've had: 1.) Afghanistan abandoned to the Taliban, 2.) Iraq collapsed into a failed state, 3.) the Ukraine war, 4.) More successful African coups than the previous 30 years combined, 5.) The deadliest war in decades break out in Ethiopia, 6.) Armeni - Azeri war 2 and 3, 7.) China taking multiple steps towards war with Taiwan, and now 8.) Israel responded to a horrific terrorist act with ethnic cleansing of the strip. Buckle up, the 2020s are going to see 40 years' worth of history happen in 10. I'm glad to be in North America, where we'll hopefully watch the majority of this from afar.

@jonathanhandy65049 ай бұрын
Flippant, about genocide no less. Israel is determined to survive. Gazans voted for war and death in 2006 when they voted for Hamas, which does not recognize Israel's right to exist. The Middle East and Islam have been associated with far too much bad acting. I'm glad Israel is there to remind the Muslim world that there is a non-Muslim world. Many non-Muslims do not appreciate terror, religious intolerance, death for apostasy, honor killing, subjection of women, genital mutilation, and jihad for God and Muhammad to force Islam on the World through holy war. And I understand the Zionist response of taking back land that was once Jewish. Hard luck for the Palestinians, but change is real in the world. Muslims come to America. We grumble sometimes, but haven't started a death cult like Hamas in response. If Islam can somehow get to peace, fine. If Islam insists on holy war, there will be plenty of folks happy to oblige Islam. And make no mistake, there is an Islamic community. They need to show the world they want peace and can compromise, or these wars over Islam will go on until Islamic terrorists stop being unreasonable in our shrinking world. An instructive example: the Muslim-Christian boundary. It began in 632 or so when Muslims seriously began attacking Palestine , Syria, and the Chrustian Roman East. It came to a pause of sorts with the end of the Second Balkan War of 1913 when Christians took much land back from the Muslims, setting the Christian-Muslim border where it is today, just inside Europe, at the Turkish-Greek/Bulgarian border. Lots of people died as the border changed over the years from 632 to 1913, but to deny religion's role in causing much death is not tenable. The world needs peace now, what with nukes, Global warming, pandemics and all. Islamic expansionism, intolerance and terror have no more place than old-style European colonialism, American manifest destiny or Mongolian empire-building. Zionism came about for understandable reasons. Though the Palestinians unfairly paid some of the price for Jews having a state, it cannot be undone now. Palestinians must recognize Israel and compromise. No more of this demand for pure solutions to such problems. The US must accept Muslim immigration, and Palestine must accept the reality of Israel. Lots of ideas involved, and I have not stated them perfectly, but make no mistake: we are all at least dimly aware we are all in this together, and change cannot be stopped. I want no nuclear war between Israel and Iran over Gaza, but the 'river to the sea' fools would burn down humanity to be right, defending Palestinians who's ancestors were every bit as colonial and acquisitive as the Zionists. Palestine was once Christian, before the Muslim invasions of the seventh century. And was Jewish until the second century. Genetically, though many Palestinians (and Jews) have DNA from the Natufians in Palestine of 10,000 BC, even the Natufians' ancestors invaded Palestine. A very sizable chunk of Palestinian DNA is closer to European, Caucasian (the region around the Caucasus mountains), ancient Iranian (not the modern Iranians), or Arabian from outside Palestine. It may all seem a bit remote - but should not when we are talking about preventing nuclear war, my friend. The Jews had some cause for more or less taking back Palestine. Nowadays it could not be done that way again, but it's done, sure as the Anglo-Saxons are not leaving England to go back to Germany so King Arthur can come back from Avalon. We need peace, not foolish talk of genocide. Yes, Israel must keep the killing within bounds, but it IS a war, brought on by a VOTE by the Gazans in 2006 and by October 7, 2023 actions.

Interesting that you chose to have Somaliland independent in your map, considering you don't seem to do the same with other de facto, but equally internationally unrecognized, independent entities.
@BoblopZmuda9 ай бұрын
Could you name some examples? Somaliland is known to be one of the few non-recognised countries that is even more developed, economically and socially, than it's supposed real controller (Somalia). They have their own passport, half-decent trade relations for a non-state actor and relative stability compared to the rest of the African horn region. I'm not sure many other non-states could argue they have similar levels of organisation, independence or stability but I could be wrong.

Keep in mind that the damaged/destroyed equipment list includes vehicles lost during the initial Hamas invasion in October, before IDF entered Gaza. Most of the vehicles lost at this stage were unmanned, parked at IDF bases during the surprised attack. Several Merkava and other vehicles were at the barrack that was temporarily captured by Hamas for 2 days, the base was soon recaptured by the IDF but the list still labeled those tank/APC as "captured" despite there's no evidence that Hamas brought those vehicles back to Gaza. These vehicles were more likely to been reclaimed by the IDF following their return to the base. Also, some of the vehicles on the list were destroyed/damaged by hezbollah in the Northern Israel border, not by Hamas or in Gaza. If your interest is solely on studying IDF losses inside the urban warfare in Gaza, around 1/3 of the losses on the list should be excluded. good video.

Wow, the IDF are so tough and they are winning the war with virtually no losses. So how come the people in Israel are unsatisfied with Netanyahu and calling him a failure? and why IDF soldiers serving in Gaza are requiring psychiatric treatment? and where did all these injured people in Israeli hospitals come from?

@@MrAbdelrahman84people are unsatisfied because they want the hostages back, and a vast majority of those in hospitals are civilians and/or soldiers injured on the 7th, not in Gaza.

Tell me, how exactly Israel supposed to manage this war against Hamas? I'm asking those who condemn Israel. What should Israel do? To stop and leave more then 100 civilian hostages in the hands of Hamas and rockets keep flying on Israeli cities? Not to use air support and let hundreds of Israeli soldiers fall in battle? How??

I truely hope you see my comment. I love your videos but can’t help but feel disappointed in your coverage. Please accept my constructive criticism from a longtime fan. You have covered all of the IDF statements/updates but you didn’t do the same with Hamas. Which makes it feel like you are echoing IDF. I would rather like to listen to both sides claims and compare. Also you haven’t mentioned anything regarding the Israeli media and how they are reporting massive number of IDF casualties. I would love to see a more comprehensive coverage. Thank you!
@ianhfl31649 ай бұрын
I second this. I unsubscribed from K&G over their coverage of this. I watched this in hopes of having some of that faith restored, and while this is better than the previous videos, it's still incredibly disappointing to see a channel platforming fascists while they are in the middle of committing genocide. To not call this what it is and condemn Israel's actions is to be complicit in enabling the genocide to continue. History will not look kindly upon those who discussed this without strongly opposing the actions of the illegal settler colonial project.
@striker121S9 ай бұрын
@@ianhfl3164 for me at least I would have appreciated unbiased military coverage and that’s it. It’s fine don’t mention politics or take a side even though it’s pretty clear what’s happening. At least cover the military part unbiased and with information from both sides or from neither and get 3rd party info only.
