A small counterpoint, because you seem like a good person and kind-hearted: For a country, regardless of its demographics, to exist, to have stability by not having to live in fear of attacks by surrounding hostility, one MUST use excessive force as a form of deterrence. Americans did exactly similar things to the Indians, even burning their crops and killing the buffalos, to which they depended on for food. When they moved them into camps, the Indians still attacked back, so the Army performed raids in retaliation. There were rapes on both sides, babies were butchered on both sides. No nation on Earth has ever born except from spilled blood of others. Someday, Israel will know peace and the surrounding regions will share in it too. There is a reason why countries like Saudi Arabia and Jordan are mum! The European to India Economic route that was proposed last year, is set to run through Saudi Arabia and Israel (via Gaza), to Greece, with Israel becoming a major hub for oil (BP already has the contract to drill near Gaza’s shores). The framework to peace is set.

Unfortunately, "God`s chosen" people do everything to make themselves not really loved. Four years ago, I went to Romania / Bolgaria, and just to start a conversation, I asked the people at the hotel receptions and during guided tours, which nations they liked best as guests and which less. The "best" category varied, but the "worst" was always : "Israelis", after the sixt such answer, I gave up, it became quite boring. When I was in Odessa, beautiful gem of a city, the town was virtually crowded/conquered by them, in a very unpleasant way, they made everybody feel who was running the show. It's not luck...a CIA report dating back some 10+ years ago concluded that the state of Israel was not likely to be able to remain viable for more than 15-20 years (there would now be less than 10 years left to that assessment's conclusion) because of declining security for Jews (and they would leave/flee) and various demographic pressures. Hertzl and Jabotinski far earlier were the founders of Zionism and it was Rothschild money which funded the rise of that ideology, as one of them (Rothschild) himself admitted over 100 years ago.
