i love listening to Abhijit, great critical thinker. Israelis and diaspora jews are very different, diaspora jews were living the liberal "post history" illusion, that most of the west are in right now and hopefully starting to wake up from, Israelis have been in battle ever since Israel was established. that's why when i see all of the arm chair commentators, and the liberal "enlightened" diaspora jews, i always wonder if they would say the same nonsense if they grew up seeing body parts scattered on the street after a terr0r attacck, or even if they ever experienced the petrifying sound of a missile red alert siren live. after oct7, peace is no longer on the table, only stability, the left in Israel realized that what they used to call the "far right" was just right so far...

The Rafah population is about 1.5 million. ( 15 lakhs). Mosul had a population of about two million people when ISIL fighters captured the city in June 2014. About half a million residents fled rather than face being forced to live under the uncompromising brutality of ISIL rule. That means when Iraq and Allied forces attacked Mosul in 2016 Mosul, Mosul's population was similar to Rafah. So the population in Rafah is not a bottleneck to destroy Hamas fully, Some of the ISI leaders were able to escape to Turkey. But in this case, Hamas leaders cannot escape. anywhere. Israel knows the battle of Mosul. That is why they took Palestinians and Hamas to Rafah and started operations from north to south. The Hamas leaders would have escaped to Lebanon or Syria. Probably, there may be some understanding between Egypt and Israel to close the border. What a wonderful planning of Israel!

If Shia Iran from so far away can come into the conflict to the side of the Sunni Hamas/Gazans /Palestinians, why can't America come to the rescue of Israel. There are as many Jews in America as there are in Israel, and they put up the money needed for this out of their pockets too. By the way, Israel did fight alone with all its Arab neighbors at a time and still won. In the 1948 wars. When it had nothing. No America, no funding, no great weaponry, nothing. Of course, Israel is strong, the Jews are strong. If they weren't, would they have survived all this long, for thousands of years of hatred? Would they have actually got their Homeland and survived for decades, actually thrived, right in the middle of all those Arab countries around?

The point about the very expensive weapons that countries are producing versus thr terrorist or Iran as quoted in this video. Isnt that alarming to counties who still fight the war conventionally. By buying or making world class weapons. I guess law and order related cultural changes in society create good Israeli citizens. Willingness to raise hands in a serious disagreement being curtailed is good but a portion of society should be allowed to break that "Shistachar". The reason is you start getting extreme fossilization. Indians have a better system, we raise hand but we also get back to our lives without much fuss, because detecting real intentions is really difficult.
