Would Iran have launched the attack against Israel the weekend of April 13, 2024 if Israel had not attacked the Iranian consulate annex building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus - killing several people? Did Israel know that a strike against Iran on what is effectively Iranian soil would demand a response from the Iranian government and cause an severe escalation in tensions in the area with the potential to start a full scale regional war that could pull the United States directly into the conflict and potentially put the lives of United States servicemen $ women at risk?
