When a country makes laws they should be laws that protect all of its citizens. Israel's laws make a distinction between those who belong to the jewish religion, even those recently arrived or invited to come and live there, and the indigenous people of that land. Doesn't sound very democratic to me. The country is situated in the heart of Arab lands, yet Arabic, a semitic language, has been downgraded.

When will the world finally learn that nothing good ever comes from religion? How many more people will have to die? This law isn't quite exactly what you think. Non-Jews in Israel are non 2nd class citizens and have never been 2nd class citizens. Israel is the only democracy in the middle east. The self determination part of the law is also slightly different from what you think. Also on the settlement part, everyone thinks it's Israeli settlements in the west bank (which are not illegal) but it's not and YOU are an anti-semite for making up the 'fact' that 'under Isrseli law, if you criticize settlements, you're an anti-semite.' Any lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestine conflict will need to create a state encompassing the entire territory of Israel and Palestine (a two state solution is neither economically nor politically tenable) and will need to recognise equally the rights of Jews and Arabs, under a nation that they can both identify with. The framing of this video is so biased, it's ridiculous. Starting with the definition of "self determination" as something regarding the individual - which it's not. It's about a Jewish nation, a Jewish people determining itself on Israeli soil. Then "stolen Palestinian land"?! When was it their land? It moved from the ottoman empire to Jordan and Egypt - and then to Israel. There was never a self determined "Palestinian people" on that land, at any point in history. And there still isn't one there now. A people exhibits some sort of internal cohesion, and the Arab tribes in Israel, which came mostly from Egypt and Saudi Arabia, hate each other. Israel is a Jewish state, home of the Jewish people. It's set into law. Deal with it.
