Mr. Rabanni has become my most trusted individual on the facts in the Middle East with the history and current status’s. I appreciate his explanations in that he is always calm in his discussions (how he stayed calm debating Morris and stupid Destiny is beyond me), and he’s very insightful and knows the mechanics of all of the governmental aspects both locally and globally and his analysis isn’t boisterous or delivers not motivated with pride. Thanks for this insightful and fascinating interview. I really appreciate Moiun’s measured, calm way of shedding light on many issues. I particularly appreciated his description of how Europe’s apathy comes from a deep seated Islamaphobia, how deeply embedded the European governments continue to be in Israel’s genocidal campaign and also how the divide between the rulers and the ruled is widening as the world’s citizens can’t unsee the atrocities Israel has committed and continues to commit in Gaza. Israel has lost the support of public opinion and no amount of smearing, bullying or lying will change this. Let’s keep boycotting and pressurising our governments to stand up for humanity and equal rights for all, not just for Israelis. It’s time to end the impunity enjoyed by this pariah state!

.this "interview" was more a disaster report than a political analysis! Like most people watching this I support the Palestinian struggle for nationhood against an invasion of their lands. But there was very little positive/educational/philosophical/political reporting or analysis in this interview. At one point the gentleman Mr. Rabbani referred to the student demonstrations in the US, as if that was going to lead to anything at all. Also he mentioned that the population in Israel has moved to the extreme right etc. All these things are true of course. "We" should really be asking "what needs to be done?" For that "we" need to, at least, start with what Professor Mearsheimer does... amongst his comments are the global crisis lead by the USA and Europe, their involvement in Ukraine and elsewhere, including the threat of a thermonuclear war. It must be noted that in almost all western countries the political map has moved drastically to the right- including the USA. These are long term and GLOBAL problems as indeed is the Palestinian struggle for nationhood. What if five/ten years down the line the Palestinians are still suffering while "we" stand at the ring side( simply going on demonstrations or social activism which achieves nothing!), and continueing to offer half baked "disaster reports"? The whole world is suffering a crisis of leadership! So why doesnt "our side" have a strong leadership? Why is the Palestinian leadership not effective and united enough? If the Vietnamese masses can defeat the most "powerful" army in the world, why can't the Palestinians? Even in the United States where it should be possible for the intellectuals, students, academics, left liberals to build an alternative political leadership/Party to the Democrat/Republican circus, "we" see hopelessness and acceptance of the status quo. In conclusion, we live in a world where there is a PARALYSIS ON THE LEFT! Political activism, demonstrations and analyses have replaced the real work of building an actual mass political party with political Cadres/leaders and a program that can unite ALL the progressive forces. "We" are all here for a leadership to unite us- not just asking for money and sending a protest note etc - all of us are waiting! The world has no choice. It is being destroyed as "we" look on. Those who talk on our behalf are ineffective and have nothing long term to offer - at best simply hoping that the enemy comes to it's senses and changes it's mind. . . Back when colonialism was new, the Israelites were on our side. The ones running their side were brothers with the Muslims. The war was started by the Europeans, but they got control over their own sides early on. They only pretended to beef it after. The Israelites had white skin, so it was easier for them to get into Europe compared to the tans or the blacks. They did not agree with colonialism and they were infiltrating Europe to help stop it from the inside. When the Nazi Holocaust happened, some of the Nazi's started claiming that they were Jewish in order to gain refuge in many different countries. This is how the Nazi's were able to infiltrate Israel. The Colonial Army had promised to stop invading and turn back around if Jesus surrendered. He was crucified and the locals were waiting to see what the Colonial Army was going to do. They didn't keep their word and they continued to invade and enslave even after they had already crucified Jesus Christ.
