When did u film it? Same time as the other videos in Israel? Amazing work bro! I went to that side too, I actually thought it was beautiful in there, food was also REALLY good! But we got kids rocking our car down and the army helped us …. Other than that, it was very interesting to see a bit more of their life! I WISH with all my heart that the border was open still, safe and not bloody… :( imagine…. Palestine tourism could be a thing big time….

For all the 'free 'palestine' guys. Can you tell me plz,if palestine was esxists as a state- When was it established? When destroyed and "occupied"? And from whom? What was the boarders? . Can you answer it? Ill wait.., Got the point? . And lets have a history lesson, 'palestine' is part of the name 'syria palestina' a name of a **REGION** (not a state), a name given by the ROMAN EMPIRE after they occupied the land of israel from the jews. . And, have you heard about 'kingdom of israel'? It was existed even back at 1010BC (thats 1010 years before christianity, and 1610 years BEFORE ISLAM). . And you know what was the capital of that kingdom? ****drums****- JERUSALEM. Yes, jerusalem was a jewish capital before you islamist came to that world and trying to claim everything that aint yours. +Jerusalem was not an arab/muslim capital a single day throught history. Also- talking about 'occupation'.. remind me plz- how many muslim states there are today? (40+). how many musclim states where before Islam was made in the 7th century? (0)....... how many Jewish states there are today? (1), and you want to destroy it as well. much liberal, very wow! Jews always had 1 state, and they never demanded more then that 1 sole state, even tho they are here many..... mannnyyyyyy years before both Christianity and Isalm. think of it that way, my 'dear' antisemic people who think they are just "anti Israel" and not antisemic: -when jews had no state, it was much easier to presecute them and kill them. -when jews has a state, suddenly its much harder, right? its not 'politiclly correct' to hate jews these days.. the 'correct' way is to hate thier state. Learn history.

Thank you for showing us little slivers of the area & the culture. We are all humans & although it’s a trite saying, we truly are more alike than mot despite differences. People focus on the differences rather than commonalities. The former otherizes, while the latter unites. We must seek to unite & find commonality even if it entails compromise. Your video helps bridge not divide, which I applaud you for doing. Despite it’s rough edges it’s beautiful. It reminds me of some Japanese art & design concepts or philosophies - the Japanese (I’m a Half-Japanese born & bred New Yorker BTW) covet order & harmony sometimes to a fault, but also beauty. Nonetheless, crafts like Kintsugi (fixing broken pottery) or philosophies like Wabi Sabi acknowledge that blemishes or imperfections make things unique & individual so are inherently beautiful because of this. Think of a worn out jacket or jeans, or a cool looking scar. These items aren’t perfect but there is beauty in “imperfection.” Anyway, there is beauty there in the city & of course, a rich culture & history. There is so much potential too. The Paletinians & Israelis have been stuck in a self-fulfilling & self-perpetuating vicious cycle of violence & hate. It’s so sad & tragic. My heart aches & soul cries for all those who have perished & those who continue to suffer trauma & heartbreak. Right now emotion & blind rage are driving the thinking & actions of the extremists on both sides of this conflict - that is a recipe for guaranteed escalation & disaster. Luckily today a little ray of light of hope happened. Hamas released two hostages. Whatever the reason whether it’s a ploy or stratagem, it doesn’t matter. Two more lives were saved & 2 hostages are reunited with their families. This is a good first step. A Gaza invasion will be barbaric, brutal & bloody on both sides as revenge is poisoning people’s minds at the moment. Diplomacy & political solution is the only way. I prat that cooler heads prevail. Hamas needs to release the hostages full stop & Israel needs to turn the electricity & water back on while allowing humanitarian aid to enter the decimated ruins of Gaza. After that, new steps can be taken to end this conflict & turmoil. I am safely here in New York but even I am exhausted of hate & conflict. I cannot imagine the turmoil this conflict wreaks onto the psyche of those involved. RIP to those who have died & condolences to the families who have suffered & lost loved ones regardless of side. One side isn’t more worthy than the other. It’s all tragic & awful. I pray that there can be reconciliation & diplomacy. Peace is the worthiest of ends so I hope that through this awful calamity, it finally spurs both sides to end decades of war & trauma so both can enjoy safe states & homes, & love in peace. It will be difficult as it’s complex & entail sacrifice & compromise but these means are justified for the end goal. It can be done & must be done. Too much blood has been spilled so I hope finally things can change.

@@mosaicmonk4380Hamas is just another lame excuse for the Zionist movement to commit war crimes and more ethnic cleansing. The Zionist state was established through the bloodshed of the Palestinians. Israel destroyed more than 30 health facilities in the past week and also destroyed a UN refugee building in Gaza. Three days ago, Israel bombed a hospital, killing at least 500 Palestinians, mostly children. They blamed the hospital bombing on Hamas at first, as usual, but when they realized it wasn't working this time, an Israeli IDF spokesman admitted that they warned the Palestinians before bombing the hospital. Covering war crimes with lies is something Israel has always done. 37 kids were killed in the West Bank this year alone, and Hamas has zero control there. Only psychopaths will fish for sympathy from the Palestinians when, just this week, entire blocks in Gaza were completely wiped out.

So watching your videos got me curious. We have a "Hots Spot" (a camp where immigrants and refugees are kept) on the Greek Island I live and many of the people inside get to come out for a walk and buy stuff from a near by supermarket. The supermarket (the owner is a friend of mine) has many Arab foods in cans (from Palestine too) so this attract them etc. People in there come from all over the Mediterranean (Syrians , Palestinians, Moroccans etc.) Unfortunately most of them don't speak English so I can only communicate with few individuals every day but its really interesting to hear about them and how they end up on a Greek island. The conditions in this camp are far from good, but at least they get to enjoy their walk at the near by village enjoy the weather and have decent meals.

I think the Palestinians knew where he came from. As well as why it is there. Despite this, they did not see him as an enemy. After all, he did not act hostile towards them. Therefore, they accepted his presence and behaved friendly towards him. They gave Salukie the same respect he showed them. I've seen some of his shows, he clearly tries to avoid any factor leading to conflict. He didn't suffer any atrocities in Turkey either, because he treated people well, or at least he tried to do so.

Sorry to inform you but most of the cars that are there are not sold by Israeli insurance companies, there are waves of car hijackings in Israel and the tracker always shows places like Jenin (where Israelis can't go if they want to live). People from Jenin get into Israel, steal the cars, and then go and do whatever they want with these cars. If you don't believe me, ask yourself why would an Israeli insurance company sell cars for way cheaper than the prices they would sell for Israelis? why go through the great hassle of transporting cars to these dangerous places when these places pay less than what Israeli places would.

Me and my daughter came to visit Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in June for her graduation trip. I've always taken an interest with the conflicts there. I was planning a trip back this year. It was by far the best trip I've ever taken in my life. I am a Christian but not a good one lol. I have never met so many nice people. It was really magical for me. I never felt judged. I guess because us Americans are so use to being around so many different kind of people and Nationalities, it's hard for me to understand how people can't just live together. I believe that people there are raised with more religion in there life than us. Very different worlds but nothing but respect for all.

@@VanillasteaGorl @@VanillasteaGorl Well I have seen videos of settlers (and tourists from America etc) touring various areas in the west bank, including scoping out houses they want to take/steal next. Settlers do tend to go and terrorise Palestinian areas and they are often backed by the IOF. The IOF regularly goes into west bank areas like Jenin and Hebron too. The regular Jewish person may not go into these areas, but the difference is they can if they wanted to (backed by the IOF). I don't think they go into gaza though (it is under siege) although that is about to permanently change from the unfortunate look of things (ethnic cleansing and annexation of gaza is the israeli government plan).

"On a clandestine odyssey across invisible boundaries, The Salukie unveils the soul of Palestine. The lens sweeps from timeless olive groves to the youthful exuberance reverberating through narrow alleyways, and to the awe-inspiring intricacies of hallowed sanctuaries. As twilight descends, his camera lingers on faces radiant with familial warmth, capturing a smile that knows no borders. In one transcendent moment, The Salukie frames both his reflection and the world he's ventured into, hinting that our divergent realities are merely facets of a shared cosmic gemstone. Woven into the very fabric of our being is a universal aspiration for peace, well-being, and the irreplaceable joy of family."
