I admit it sounds silly, but if you accept the definition of ARAB as "culture", then not only enjoying randomly, but being a consumer of Arab culture, food, music, patriarchal habits, etc - raises the question . (and the conclusion I think is, A. Language is a very dominant criterion here; B.Much of it depends whether the competing ethnicity (Jewishness) excludes its members from belonging to any other Ethnic/Cultural definition)

@JimboParadox Not true. There are plenty of brown skin Jews and even Black Jews. You can not identify Jews by skin color. It would be the same as referring to all American's as white. Genetically speaking, Arabs and Jews are brothers. Also, Arabs come in many shades also. I have met Arabs with white skin, brown skin, and black skin. I have met both Jews and Arabs with equally large noses and equally small noses. You need to get out of the basement and become more cultured.

That is not necessarily a bad thing. People that do that usually worry about how society perceive them which means it's frowned upon. Being calculated is sometimes a good thing but society also needs the blunt non PC opinion. In all goodness should prevail. Do you speak Arabic?

Moshe Yamini I understand that you don't consider yourself Arab. But Yemenis converted to Judaism and established a Jewish Kingdom in Yemen centuries ago. It's highly unlikely that you are a "Jew". Your ancestors were Yemenis (Arabs) that kept their Jewish religion after the Advent of Islam, while the majority of Yemenis who were Jewish or Christian converted to Islam.

just to clear this Up ... for Morocco, in our Moroccan constitution " Morocco is not Arab" there's no line that say that Morocco is an arab country, and for languages in the Moroccan constitution our two official languages are : TAMAZIGHT and ARABIC. for the identity it's clearly said in the constitution that Morocco has a mixture of cultures between Amazigh, Arabs, jews, moresque, Sahraoui, mediteranian. But !! the Moroccan constitution doesn't consider MOROCCO as an ARAB COUNTRY

What is an Arab look anyway? According to this approach, many Italians, Spanish and Portuguese are Arab looking. People in the Middle East have all different looks, I would not say that people in Morocco have the exact same facial features of people in Saudi Arabia or that Yemenites look like Syrians, Sudanese or Iraqis. Above all, all these areas are just Arab speaking, Arabic was imposed by the conquering Arabs. Algerians, Egyptians, Syrians or Iraqis are originally not Arabs.

Yes there is ARABIC look , but too bad Arabic countries are mixed now, in Lebanon or syria or Jordan you would see alot of people who are originally European or Armenian or Turkish or they have European mother or grandmother but you will think they are real Lebanese/Jordanian/syrian, also in yemen and the gulf countries there is millions of people originally African or Pakistani or other Asian countries and you will think they are real Arabs and real natives of the gulf just because they wear ARABIC and speak ARABIC and say they are Arabs but they are not they just lived there hundreds years ago because of islam and they forgot their origin and don't even care about it some don't even know exactly where they are from so they just say we are Arabs because they born in Arabic country with Arabic people and culture. European and African in America don't represent natives look same as European in Lebanon or Pakistani and African in yemen and gulf . Semitic people (real middle eastern) Assyrian Arab Aramean jews mandaean , they look the same but some mixed more with European and some mixed more with African/Indian, and that's why you will find all colours and looks in the middle East because they excepted everyone and everyone start to think they are real middle eastern.

In Lebanon for example most of the pageant Queens and famous people actresses or singer are of European origin or Armenian or they are mixed and in Kuwait most if not all the actresses and actors are originally Iranian and Pakistani and some Iraqis and Egyptian, and in oman all actresses are Pakistani , but all of those people say they are Arabs or Lebanese or Kuwaitis or omani they never say their original land because they know nothing about it , so not everyone who say I'm Arab or Lebanese or Kuwait is real native of the lands or he represent the ARABIAN look. Arabs is ethnicity yes they do have their own look , in saudi Arabia you will find Asian looking saudi and African looking saudi and Pakistani looking saudi and Arabian looking saudi but they all say we are Arabs , is it possible for one ethnicity to look African Asian Indian European?? @@Allinda. Most people in Syria and Lebanon do not have European origins. My friend from Maloula is Syrian and his grandparents still speak Aramaic, the original language of Syria and Iraq, while he himself only speaks Syrian Arabic. He is linguistically part of the Arab speaking world, but he is ethnically for sure not an Arab. He is native to Syria and he is a recent example of language shift whereas millions of other Syrian or Iraqi families switched from Aramaic to Arabic a few centuries ago. Coptic was spoken as a native language until the 17th century

We have a lot from Suria and iraq, also some libanese. in my opinion they are not so far from the europeans... (europeans come genetically 50% from whats todays turky, persia ect) Europa is higly mixed with a lot different influences. And so are those places. I even would say all the mediterran people appear pretty close to each, no matter on wich continent they are living. What i basicaly mean by that. In. places that mixed so much wich eachother like those regions did the past 10000 years.... snmth like a race dont exist. Correct at 4:05, being arab is more of a geographical thing from what I understand. You can be of arab descent but still be a jew. You can also be of israeli descent but be a muslim. Whichever one you associate or identify with doesn't mean it's worse or better than the other. Both people are children of God and descendents of Adam which make us all brothers and sisters equally. There were some Ashkenazim that did not look any different from Middle Eastern Jews. We are all coming from the same place, and that place is Israel. When Arabs finally acknowledge that we are native to this land too, then there is a chance for peace. Lastly, most of the Israeli and Palestinian Arabs and other Muslim groups are 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants from Magrib, Egypt, Saudis Arabia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Balkans, etc. It is time to stop playing the game - "who was first" and start building a country for our kids.
