Thanks for posting this up, I just managed to find one after looking for some years. It'll be interesting to compare to the original Armalite and older Charter Arms rifles.

I know that this is a very old vid ... and the poster has not been active in a very long time ... but ... there is something, a device?, on the receiver just behind the barrel nut. It can be fairly clearly seen @5:17 I've never seen anything like on on any other AR-7's but it's on all of the Bricklee/Israeli variants. Could it be a pal-nut to tighten against the barrel nut to prevent it from loosening as all AR-7's seem to do?

Hard to find. Was easily sold. Kinda miss it 🤑. Very unique.

I know someone that has one of these with the Israeli's original markings still there. I came here during my search as it appears to be a one of a kind mistake during the import.

cycles best very wet, but it was a fun little survival rifle to have for a while. it sold in minutes when I listed it. had a 13" barrel with a welded tube on end to get it past 16". its a LR 22 pee shooter and a rare military conversion sold to cilivians.

Quality is definitely better than anything that you can buy today. I have to question that it is from the 60's. Barrel has a two letter abbreviation for California. That kind of abbreviation became standard in the late 70's. My guess would be 70's or 80's
