It is an official music video to promote a song on her new album that was released last year. Amira's 2nd performance at HGT was Ave Maria, definitely worth watching and listening to and the 3rd and winning performance at HGT performed by Amira was Nessun Dorma Over the last 18months Amira's voice has changed, become even more beautiful as her lower range has expanded and added even more tones, Sub-Tones and harmonics to both her lower and mid ranges. Her version of Gabriellas Song from the CIG 2018 performance would demonstrate those changes well. Like you said you would like to hear. Low and mid range with runs up to highs and back down again. Beautiful tone throughout. As far as her early stuff you absolutely want to go back and observe how she progressed and developed over the 5 1/2 years since she won the show. Very interesting to track all the changes in Amira's development.

This is basically a music video of an original song from Amiras third album. In a way the song is a tribute to her grandmother who was her biggest supporter. Her grandmother passed away right after her first audition on Holland's got talent. So, her grandmother never saw the second or the final winning performance but said during and interview in South Africa after her first audition that "Amira belongs to the world now". Here is a performance I think you need to cover. It is a performance with Andre Rieu and his orchestra. It takes place just 7 months after Amira won HGT. Here she sings O Mio Babbino Caro again, but sings the entire aria. Her voice, and vocal control during this performance is beyond belief. You watch the face of this tiny 10 year old girl and you realize she isn't just singing a song, but is actually interpreting it. Between 10 and 15,000 people standing there in tears giving her a well deserved standing ovation. Amira is a truly outstanding singer! Her voice always touches one's heart. By now you know that this is an original by Amira, in memory of her late grandmother. Your reaction, once you got to it, was great. And I especially like that you do not "yack" all during the performance. My main criticism (and I watch a lot of reaction channels) is that you spent 5 minutes of introduction for this video. That is VERY excessive. Slim that down by at least 3.5 minutes. Otherwise, I really liked this reaction video.

It's a concert in honor of the choir master of the Tygersberg Childrens Choir which won the title of world's best multiple times under his tutelage. It was his last performance and asked Amira to perform with them in Durbinville, Capetown South Africa. They perform Plaisir D'Amour, a French popular sound. Dutch is not pronounced much different from how it is written, it's just that some letters symbolizes an unfamiliar sound, like f.ex. the G which You at least produced a sound similar to how it should be pronounced ;) Regarding the song, I can confirm Jóhannes Bjarmarsson statement that it's dedicated to Amira's deceased grandmother, and was written for Amira by Joe Foster & Riana Nel, both singers and composers/songwriters in Pretoria, RSA. Maybe Amira should also be credited with co-writing, I don't know, but at least she should have all the credits for her beautiful performance. Her voice is clear as a diamond and I bet it can cut glass just as well :) The video is the "official music video" produced by the record company to promote her album 'With All My Heart' (2018). I've seen this song being categorized as "Easy Listening", whatever that means ??? Hopfully there will soon be new material available on KZbin, since Amira is scheduled to perform at the annual Classics Is Groot concert in Pretoria on Jul 19. What if... If we were talking about another lyrical prodigy singer ? A singer, also Dutch, about which we speak too little, and yet was almost as amazing as Amira at 10 and 11 years old. Sterre van Boxtel, even though she recently sang at the Royal Concert Hall in Amsterdam (at 14 yo), may not have the same international fame as Amira. Her register and her repertoire are also not the same, and she has not evolved as Amira (that is, she is younger). But, as seen in this vs video bellow, her prodigy talent (at 10 yo) is very close to that of Amira. Here Amira had more vocal power and intensity, and Sterre more purity and stability, which will lead to the baroque and the music of interiority (including Fauré). So ... Amira or Sterre ?
