ISRO Chief Shares New Details About Chandrayaan-3, Aditya L-1, Gaganyaan Missions

S Somnath, head of the Indian Space Research Organisation Friday said that Chandrayaan-3 will be sent to the Moon in July as the launch window opens on June 12.
Isro chief S Somnath was at the India Today Conclave South 2023 to discuss the space quest.
"Essentially Chandrayaan-3 is similar to Chandrayaan-2, with the same scientific architecture and mission objective," Somnath said, adding that the launch date will be announced soon.

The interviewer needs to be more polished in asking questions of Dr. Somnath. He was a little crude and rushed, thus, coming off as slightly disrespectful and not allowing the chairman to elucidate his answers. What is the Budject of space missions at India, China and US. In US, the missions failed multiple times and they corrected it and moved forward. As the budget of India is significantly less, India cannot take risks and lose huge money. So, I feel, India takes a long time to ensure perfection to avoid failure.
