Issues instrumentals were always their highlight: complex drum parts and djent, even jazzy sometimes groovy guitars. Tyler’s clean voice is always outstanding but Michael was always so weak vocal wise. His screams were mediocre and he could only do like one type of scream. His clean singing didn’t even stood a chance against Tyler’s, making his parts sound so weak. Now issues can really shine. AJ screams are so beast, reminds me of old hardcore and Sky’s are death metal ones. Couldn’t really hear josh ones and Tyler doesn’t need to scream, he can stick to singing. Now that the deadweight is gone, they’ll fly so high. Still need to improve a bit on their live shows presence tho.

Really disagree with you referring to Bohn as "deadweight". The dude has put plenty into WIM's earliest albums as well as Issues and whatever he's working on now. I doubt they would have made it this far without him accompanying and to be honest it is really apparent that the band is lacking now without him. They cut out certain parts of really wicked songs becuase they can't fill the space themselves and even with the covers for uncleans on blue wall with all four of them it just sounds messy. His cleans on the last album were a bit unneeded sure but i feel like it was them pressuring him to do something 'different'. His screams sufficed perfectly in my opinion and don't think the band will be much better without him :/
