Loved this conversation! We - Kenyans (I believe its a world problem generally), suffer from the "Someone' syndrome. We are always waiting for 'Someone' to do something. 'Someone' solve our problem. 'Someone' make a change...its refreshing and inspiring to come across individuals who take up the challenge and start and do themselves. Lets be the change...
@LegallyCluelessAfrica3 жыл бұрын
This is so true! We often talk about this as a team! We have to be willing to be the change!

I feel your Prof sounds very familiar, I may have encountered him for International relations at a different institution. We as his students used to feel terrorized. Thank you for voicing this out, cause we compensated for his flaws, by trying to perform extremely too well in his class.or trying to memorize the very large book herding cats in International Relations. We never confronted him, we did not want to disturb his idiosyncrasy and be in perpetual limbo.

This story reminds me of an employer ( turkish) whose English was pathetic and she could force me to listen to her even when am understanding zero 😂😂...i told her i would listen to her husband who is more fluent in English if she needs to tell me anything ,she should tell her husband first he will tell me,she got so mad called me names but guess what? two days later ,she brings an English tutor to be teaching her English she was from England ... from that moment i knew i had something in me 😂😂.

OMG! Thouroughly enjoyed this. And the always story is the bane of my life since my first period until i got tampons and later the cup. And I remember commenting on the Always page and they literally blocked people.
@althealaura3358 Жыл бұрын
I complained too. I was blocked. I've experienced sanitary towels from different countries and they were the softest thing ever! I asked always Kenya why they can't do better, why they keep comparing themselves to tissue paper, such a low bar. There are better products so I moved. And I moved with everyone who listened to me.
