Wrexham fan here. Very cool of you to not be in the hooligan gang even though your in the middle of it! The thick of it, as we say here in the states and over there as well, I’m sure. I’m sure you threw a middle finger here and there, but that’s to be expected. Not the physical confrontation that so many of your fellow Salford fans and so many of my fellow Wrexham fans were participating in. I mean, soccer fans aren’t children, right? You know you go to jail when you try to attack someone because of a game? Well, you seem to know that. You are one cool customer. I think that the rules need to change. If you even look like your going to confront someone because your mad, you should be banned for years. If you actually do it, banned for life. Even if you didn’t put your hands on anyone. If you assault anyone, that’s illegal and should be punished. Assault and battery are 2 different things. Battery is when you make physical contact. Assault is when you confront someone in a threatening manner. Just the act of confrontation should be punished. I know this isn’t a popular opinion, but I don’t give a rats a$$. The game needs to be cleaned of all this stupid, ego driven, dumb hooligan nonsense. It’s the worst part of football. Why can American fans of different teams sit with each other, RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER, and we’re fine? We don’t need to close off an entire section of the seating to separate fans. We are adults who know that the game is important, but not THAT important. Our egos are not soooooo connected to these teams. I love Wrexham, but if another team wins, I clap for them. It’s not the end of the world. It’s just a game. The BEST game, but still just a game. Anyway, sorry for the rant. I’m talking about Wrexham fans too. Not just Salford fans. Your boys did amazing, btw. I could feel their intensity all the way over here.

Lots of the youngster round you were giving it the big one when you scored as it their right but didn’t like it back when Wrexham scored. At ft it was mostly young Salford fans looking for a fight shouting and abusing fans just trying to get out and back home. Heard a rumour from someone by where I sit that your lot smashed up the toilets which I hope if true means we send the class of 92 a nice bill to fix it all.
