Your face when you realised it was closed is too funny 🤣. One thing I've noticed is that so many places in Thailand are just closed or open on the most random days, so I leave a note on every place I save on google maps, this was definitely just a reminder haha.

Yeah it was suppose to be the highlight of the video slightly.. but was committed to the day already by then so had to salvage it lol opening times here are a nightmare on Sundays and Mondays usually

Things don’t always go to plan here unfortunately and a long hot day like that can be a waste not to capture still.. I hope I was still able to make it interesting

Thanks for the video, I have been looking for videos about Samut Prakan as I have been offered a job at a school, not sure what to think, would you think its a nice place to live and work? Or is it too quiet, I know its close to Bangkok but don't want to live there, just spend weekends or a night out. What is your opinion may I ask? I hope you don't mind. Enjoy your travels!

@ProjectBangkok
@ProjectBangkok Жыл бұрын
I made the mistake of getting there for mid day when the sun cooks you alive haha was only about 5-10min walk between things I’ll add a little list and some google map links to the comments later actually to help people if they want to check it out

This is probably a stupid question, but when you took the ferry how did you know the timetable? I've seen so many places I'm planning on going, google maps shows that it 'connects' after/before the train with a ferry or bus ride, but I haven't seen a schedule or sign saying the route being taken haha 😅
@ProjectBangkok
@ProjectBangkok Жыл бұрын
These kind of ferry’s will be very frequent to be honest.. just turn up and wing in.. I do the same with the bus to Pattaya every single time as well.. just turn up and you shouldn’t have to wait too long hopefully

Found out that many places are closed on Mondays. Don't need a tout or huckster to tell you that something is closed, and to offer you a free "tour" to some Lucky Buddha Temple or some crap place like that. Moral of the story: make videos from Tuesday to Thursday in order to avoid the crowds and all those pesky tourists.
Ancient City is truly SPECTACULAR!
