Who’s the real thief. “The prices paid at the register do not match the price tags, according to a class action lawsuit working through the courts.” “Dominant discount retail chain Dollar General, which operates about 19,000 stores in the U.S., is being sued for an alleged “pricing scam.” In the class action lawsuit, customers allege that Dollar General frequently tags merchandise on store floors at a lower cost than what it rings up at the register. The case was brought on behalf of the class by Dann Law, a firm spearheaded by former Ohio attorney general Marc Dann. “These guys are stealing a little bit from millions of people every day,” Dann told the Prospect. “There’s no question that they’re aware there’s a problem. And [that] they’ve been aware for a period of time.” Dollar General’s practices, which essentially amount to false advertising, have financially harmed the “thousands if not tens or hundreds of thousands of consumers,” the lawsuit alleges. The suit, which was filed in New York, seeks an order declaring Dollar General in conflict with state law, as well as damages for the class.”

Russia is not a country, it's a state of mind. (That's a saying we have in Poland) These shops are in Poland too because they're open for longer duration and they are in remote areas, or around big building blocks where you have 1 market that's suitable, but you don't want to wait in queue do you go there to pay a bit more, but faster.

I was employed by him family dollars slashed dollar tree was coming into work one day, and a shoplifter attack me, and I beat the hell out of him and got fired 45 days later. When working there, the shoplifting dropped dramatically because I stayed on the floor watching all the customers and knew all the shoplifters and made them leave before they even came into the store, but I still lost my job after a shoplifter hit me. And I defended myself.

Insanity. Tell people it’s okay to steal from anyone or any business as long as it’s below $1000 and you won’t be arrested. Then freak out because they’re doing it and create task forces to stop it. Create the problem then sweep in like superman to stop it. Same story, different day, era ect
@HikaHima8 ай бұрын
It's the only method they have to get votes (despite so many not real votes but illegally cast ballots) is by creating a problem, blame the other side constantly for the problem despite having nothing to do with it, vaguely make some effort to "fix" the problem to still be worse than it originally was but better than what they forced it to be, and claim to be a hero with the best interest of the people. Yeah, no. That worked when there wasn't social media. Of course, they are making it work by stealing people's information, and censoring the online data with the special taskforce (created by obama) to have compete control over the internet and everyone's personal data.

Repeal the 19th. Landowners and active/former military only. Welfare recipients prohibited. ID required. In person voting only (except people travelling/living abroad for work). Ideally there should also be some sort of test to make sure you are an informed voter, but the logistics of that are difficult and could easily lead to abuse.

I'm not saying there is no one in the country who has needed to steal food to get by, but we need to be honest that the vast, vast majority of shoplifting is pure theft because most of the time you can see these people selling the crap they stole secondhand out on the street
