I have an OC who's genderfluid and androgynous and they shortened their birth name to sound like the short, nickname version of their birth name and a name of the opposite gender so they pass as any. If they are with ppl that knew them for their AGAB or with ppl that knew them after socially transitioning, the name will work with no problem or collision they are the embodiment of pretty boy-handsome girl they go by he/she/they so when i talk about them i usually use their pronouns interchangeably
