I read a book once where replacing all of the vowels with A was a secret code used by a certain group of people and people outside of that group literally couldn't understand what was being said and assumed it was a different language even though reading it isn't that hard. You know some of these posts reminded me of the fact that my Swedish teacher recently entered a story I wrote into a school story writing competition. The story I wrote is the story of how the world ended told through the fuzzy last thoughts of an ambiguous person dying for half an hour. Pretty easy to see why I have a good shot at winning if you ask me.
