Ben has done an awesome job installing the floor and pallet wainscot on Rambler! Looks really handsome! Fun watching Alan's cat-cam journey with her whiskers, which are her feelers. That was startling to see that muzzled dog suddenly appear and try to get at Alan! Glad nothing happened but it was scary I'm sure for Alan and Ben.

Olbas tip - use a litre plastic jug. Half a jug of hot water plus a small amount of Olbas. Sniff; then move the jug away. Do this several times so as to not become overwhelmed. Avoid making it too strong and un-usable. If that doesn't work then try a double Jack Daniels. Won't cure anything but you'll feel better.

Glad to see Alan is okay after that run in with the dog, so lucky that Benny was there to stop it. Another boat vlogger lost one their cats to a dog that was unleashed and the lady didn't give a rats. Did the owner say sorry or did just keep on walking? Bet he doesn't clean up after it as well.

Always go from left to right when using a handheld router, never right to left, so the cutter is rotating the correct way for the direction of travel. You will get a better finish and it’s much safer.

I love Olbas Oil. I got a Vicks sniffer but added several drops of Olbas to it through the sniffer hole. BUT......I now use neat Oregano oil which is 10 times better. Add that to boiling water and breath it and it will blow the top of your head off...but well worth it. If you're very brave add a tiny drop, finger tip amount under your tongue OMG .......

Rambler's look'n good. 👍 I wonder if you should have installed the pallet wood facing on the floor ledge first before putting down the flooring. If you ever need to replace flooring (if it gets wet and warps for example), you'd have to pull the pallet wood facing off as well. 🤷‍♂ Oh, and that dogs lucky Allen didn't get his mojo on and work him over. lol....

Acrylic sheet at B&Q for the porthole, cut it with a jigsaw. Take a saw with you to wickes and cut the 18mm ply in the carpark, I use a little generator and an electric jigsaw. if your feeling fit use a handsaw. if your using a jigsaw take some extra blades with you.😂

So nice to see rambler taking shape, Emily you could try putting s small amount of Albas oil on a cloth and pop it in your pillowcase to sleep. Ideal ballast would be either flexible or solid water containers filled with fresh water. If you hooked up a supply line, they can also be a source of drinking/washing functionality. Use air pressure to pump water to the sinks.

Emily and Ben,you need to buy a set of cargo carrier racks to put on the roof of your Van.They make them to look nice and are are can carry heavy loads. I just hauled on top of my 2008 Dodge Caravan, 8 sheets of 5 eights inch×4×8 sheets of plywood and 24 2×4's 16 ft long.Tied it down good with rope and drove 50 miles.The racks can be removed if wanted when not in use.That dog is the stuff of nightmares,at least for Alan.

@22:40 Fomitopsis Betulina! My grandad used to use it to carry ambers into the woods, It would keep an amber for hours!. He also used it to create a fine finish on his razor blade. And my grandma use to create a powder out of it to make tea and to create a tincture. She said that it's antibiotikum, antivirotikum, that the tea is good for any digestion problems, but you must not over do it. What she described was basically Miky Flanagan's Delhi Belly.

Who else thinks that all dogs walked along the towpath should be on a lead...??? Time & time again you see dog walkers on their phones letting their dogs run here there & everywhere, letting them mess everywhere along the towpath, this they just don't see, so consequently there's dog mess everywhere along the towpath & then you start walking it onto your boat.
