13 years ago I can say the Holy Spirit started working on me. I didn't quite realize it at the time. But I recall how other people told me "I've changed". Now I don't jump into things too quickly and I don 't get on board just to be on board. So it took some years before I knew I was surrendering to God. Two years ago I was baptized and read the Word daily now. One unbelievable change for me was the Peace I have. Amazing 🙏 thx Danny for sharing the Word.

After moving to a rural central Louisiana lot in September 2022 I planted some winter greens, turnips and radishes. In mid December it got down to 3 degrees with 50 mph winds. Somehow one plant made it...lettuce. A bunny got it. The next spring it was too cold to get a spring garden started early. A late freeze got a lot of stuff and got the blackberry blooms. Then in mid June the worst drought and heatwave I`ve ever seen began. Near total loss in my garden. The massive storm that happened when the drought arrived flattened my corn and tomatoes. 75 okra plants produced about 3 pods per day that summer and I got just a few cucumbers and a handful of tomatoes. I got one pot of black eyed peas and not enough Red Rippers to even shell. The grass and weeds were bleached white by mid July and the wild bunnies were desperate for food & water so I put bowls of water out and let them eat the garden and dug a puddle for the frogs when they put eggs in their water bowls. Now toads are everywhere. I fed and watered the wild birds and helped a stray puppy and a raccoon. My gardens and new fruit trees did great last year. I had way more than I could eat.

I was laid up on the couch with my leg hurt and stumbled across this channel. I was about to change channel and things you were saying was making sense. I'm afraid. Afraid with getting old, taking care of children alone and afraid what happens to them if I die. Stay awake at night with worry and fears for their future. I keep losing sight God's in control. Just always pick up worrying over and over. Only time I can have peace is ls studying, listening to preaching. Think I have a faith issue, I just can't overcome.

East Texas. Have kept 2 Bloomsweet grapefruit, 2 tangerine an a lemon in my office out back for 14 years. They thrive. I use a dolly and one at a time. A labor of love.😊

I think you are on to something here. I have had the same feelings. Have been tested greatly in my life growing up. God molded and hardended me so that I could make it through my Sons death. We should prepare our kids for hardships that I fear are coming. Kids are too soft nowadays. Humans have adapted through all matters of testing. The strong and adaptable have survived. Be strong and courageous God is in control. 🙏✌❤

I wrapped all our citrus in the old style Christmas lights that get warm and then we covered them. They came through the cold & snow like champs! Did my aloes planted in the ground the same way.
