Nick, your mom is a total bad-ass! Love seeing her crush it with you on these hikes…

Wow, that was a really good hike! I do these better than some of the really steep trails (as you know! Ha). I am glad we tackled this one again, and did it in pretty darn good time, too! Whoop! Thank you for taking me along once again! ❤

Awesome video, Nick 👌 Man, your mom is tough. She does those hikes like she's 20 😮😮😮 Every time I watch your videos I want to go to Rocky again. What a beautiful park!

Great hike and video!! Your dear Mother is a gem. I am a hiker and close to your mom's age and she is super spry and a great hiker. She will live long and prosper with the hikes you take her on. Way to go both of you.

I kept wondering if that was a glacier at the headwall above the Pool of Jade. Thanks for pointing out that it was Tyndall Glacier! A great trip report! 🎉🎉🎉

You must live close to Estes Park! You get to hike in beautiful country all the time. I'm jealous

That’s crazy how the Pool of Jade dried up like that four years ago. Glad you guys got to experience an actual lake this time.

What a hike man, trail looks outstanding! Love it

I enjoyed you taking us on this obscure, off the beaten path hike. And there was just enough distance, elevation gain, and challenge to make the trip to RMNP worthwhile.

That's cool as hell. Wonder if you can get up to the saddle between Flattop and Hallet from there?
@nicksangetta88742 ай бұрын
@robertjaycox8488 I was looking but nothing seemed obvious. It gets pretty steep! But there may be a way up.

I was there years ago from flat top mountain to the gorge. While we came down to Emerald Lake we took right side but realized left side big rock is easier to go through. However at the end of the way we decided to come down to the lake via cliff and walk through the lake in the shallow water edge. It took us about 4 hours. It was very hard trail but we could not see a pool of jade because it was dried up. Nice to see again the same course. Thank you.

Glad you and your mom made it, but this is not a hike I would do. It doesn’t pass my risk/ rewards test.
