Amazing bell. I see similar bells on line identified as cat or animal bells. It would be amazing if that bell came from a family pet of the folks that were there 200+ years ago.

That little bell could have very well been worn around the neck of some livestock. I have an old cow bell that was made by my two or three times great grandfather, who was a blacksmith. Bells helped the farmers keep track of their animals, especially in areas which were hilly or not easily seen.

I think it would be helpful to your viewers to talk about the importance of getting permission to metal detect on any property before even thinking about trekking into the woods to your favorite cellar hole. I think too many are under the impression that they can just hike into the woods and take what they want.

The bell is absolutely amazing what era do you think thats from? Everytime I see that Teknetics Detector pop up on your video it takes me back to the late 70's and my first detector a bright red all analogue Teknetics beast that was a great machine 😊 Man I miss being able to get out and land fish.
