The ball washing of Purdy is wild he basically did nothing after the 1st quarter of scripted plays. He’s a good QB but he also hasn’t played well for most of this post season. He threw the ball right to the packers multiple times. He was lucky to even be in the SB

Coming from a Chiefs fan: Brock Purdy, you played your tail off. You’ve come a long way from being Mr. Irrelevant in the draft. I’ll tell you this. We know what it’s like to lose a Super Bowl. Just three years ago, we got our tails handed to us by the Buccaneers. You handled this very well. My advice: Ted Lasso said a goldfish is the happiest thing alive because it only has a 15 second memory. Be a goldfish. In other words, pick yourself up and try again. Thanks for a great game.

Class act comment. SF needs to do better. Shanahan lost to Reid, plain and simple. All week long they talked about the short game, controlling the clock, don't let Mahomes get the ball at the end. They ran away from it. You were better for 60+ minutes. Congrats on your dynasty. Hopefully we'll be back next year ...

I feel for the 49ers because they were so close and played a great game. They had the Chiefs beat. The ball hitting the 49er was unfortunate but that was in my opinion the difference in the game as well as Mahomes. There will be other opps for SanFran. They have a very good, resilient team and they played a great KC team. One of the best Superbowls I have seen.

From a neutral supporter, I was rooting for Purdy and the 49ers by the end. I felt they outplayed the Chiefs in many areas and KC were frustrated, as you could see from their discipline. Much is made of Kelce but his display against his manager early on was pure disrespectful, yet he will get all the plaudits for this win, which wasn’t convincing to anyone.

I’ve loved the Chiefs and Mahomes since before they were a dynasty. But seeing Brock get here and lose after being Mr. Irrelevant makes me feel so bad for him. Despite my love for Mahomes, Kelce, and Reid, I would love to see a man as humble as Purdy win a ring before it’s all said and done.

When? As you saw tonight and all season…he’s a GAME MANAGER. Do you know that Brock didn’t even make 1 million dollars off his contract? You do know they won’t be able to keep a lot of their key players once they pay Brock Purdy right? How is a game manager going to make it to the Super Bowl without a stacked team? I can’t predict the future but the NFC is getting younger and more talented.

They have one more year to try and win it with this loaded roster b/c Brock only has one more year on his rookie contract where he isn’t even making 1 mil a year. That’s obviously going to change. He’s going to get a big bag soon. But when that happens, it’s going to be hard to keep a loaded roster like this. But until then, they have one more year to get it done.

The 49ers played well, but a few crucial mistakes such as the punt that bounced off the blocker's foot, CMC's fumble, and the missed extra point cost them. Moody made two 50+ yard field goals. Deebo and Kittles needed more touches/attempts. Purdy's performance was solid but in the Super Bowl, the QB has to be great. The defense ran out of gas and could have been better towards the end. The Chiefs aren't dynasty champions because they are lucky. They are great. To beat them, the 49ers had to be exceptional.

Not Brock's fault.. he was very gutsy. San Francisco's offensive co-ordinator made poor calls to not stick to the run game in the 3rd Q - and that let KC back into the game. Also, I would have defs gone for it on 4th and Goal in OT... puts the D on alert, and also KC would be backed up on their goal-line. KC deserved the win - and absolutely loved Mahomes let the clock tick down before the final TD - that's legendary!

all 49er played well. they can be proud. stand up and try it again next season. if there is one point, than maybe the hc could try to get more courage. dont have fear to win. if you do something good like 1st halftime, than keep it, and dont panic and do some strange things. the solution for 2nd halftime would have been to run as often as possible with mccaffrey.

i say this might be controversial but the chiefs didn’t deserve to win. They had played terribly all game up until the 4th quarter. The 49ers played their hearts out and still lost. The 49ers played like they deserved to win, the chiefs didn’t play like the deserved it.

Brock was great. The blocking for him was a disaster on KEY PLAYS. the QB cant do anything when defense is coming through untouched. Some players CHOSE not to block their assignment. The games are clearly fixed by a number of players. If you watch enough game film multiple times/ slowed down, there's no doubt about what is going on out there.

He wasn’t bad, he wasn’t great, he was good. Had them in a position to win. No back breaking mistakes. Look at CMC fumbling ruining that first drive where they marched right down the field against the Chiefs. The blocked PAT. Ray Ray McCloud muffing the punt. Can’t do that against the Chiefs. He did miss a couple TD’s which Chris Jones hit him as he threw, so I give him a break on that part, but that’s a huge part of a QB progressing. He has to practice making those throws under duress

Having to see Kelce and Taylor and Ice Spice celebrating instead of this upstanding gentleman was not a fun experience. I can say that much. Shame that the game would've never gone into overtime had they not missed that extra point. Still young, he'll have his chance in the future. Good luck Brock.
