Any very large event needs to be held in a venue suitable for it. The streets in Notting Hill are not suitable and this makes policing wrong doing virtually impossible.

Notting hill carnival has been swamped with African members of the public when it was once afro Carribbean/Jamaicans from the West Indian communities who happily welcomed nd involved indigenous white members of the community and public. The message and spirit of the once great carnival has been lost to the criminal gangs creating crowd surges indecent behaviour and much worse when you read the crime/injury stats afterwards.
