Iroh wisdom sessions is always fantastic! Kyoshi was so badass, literally splitting from the mainland like that. I also agree with Pat. If Qin wasn't so stubborn and moved, he could've lived. Though I like how even though Kyoshi didn't technically kill him directly, she was still like "Yeah, I killed him" xD What Sokka said there at the end is basically what fans think of this episode lol

The thing that is completely wrong about this episode is how they keep on demonising other Avatars even though this whole act was committed by just one of them. The fact that Aang just chose to go to prison for nothing and make one of the most uneccessary life/death situations that is only resolved when Fire Natioj soldiers attack is reason enough for me for me to say how much I can’t stand this episode. If this was a town that felt abandoned by the Avatar, that would make more sense. Also, this town’s way of justice and trials is very childish. It is not like in old days when executions were carried out to a random guy who was part of a group of people, a single town or city despises.

The greatest system of law ever conceived!!! ...I'm starting to think the Fire Nation has a point, since they at least have an effective bureaucracy that dominates the lives of all their subjects, whereas the Earth King has no authority outside Ba Sing Se. Also love that Kyoshi MUST have known the trouble Aang was in for that situation and still straight up said "Yeah, I killed him. What you gonna do about it?"

You really don't have to do the see-through thing with Avatar. A lot of reactors have reacted to it without any trouble, so long as you stay withing the 10 mins fair-use time you're good. The copyright issue most often only comes up with japanese animes since japanese production companies don't have to abide fair-use which is a U.S. law.

Actually, Kyoshi did not kill him. He technically killed himself. Yes, she caused the earth to split, but he was the one who shifted his own body weight and then fell. And even then, we don't know if he survived the fall. It's possible he just drowned, which would not be Kyoshi's fault.

Bruh if they thought having a spider web and a spider on his mouth was gross, well my experience is even more disgusting! When I was in 2nd grade, I slept with my mouth open and I slept on the first floor of a bunk bed so it was closer to the ground obviously. In the morning I would wake up with a bunch of hair in my mouth. It was only YEARS later that I realized what was happening while I was asleep! Fucking rats would crawl into my mouth while I was asleep. And since I was a heavy sleeper, I never woke up to actually feel them rummaging around in my mouth. Ugh just thinking about it now, makes me wanna throw up😭😭😭😭😭🤭😭 it's a miracle that I didn't get sick or even die considering rats carry so much bacteria on their fur.......
