Welcome to the Weekend Top 3.
I love having five full weekends in June. It makes me feel like June is stretched out and we are getting to use every moment for all the classic summer fun we can. Is it just me? I don’t think so! But I’ll let you decide if you think I'm crazy!
Also, you may want to start making a game plan for the 4th of July. What do you want to do? Where do you want to check out the fireworks? We have that all for you in this Weekend Family Fun Guide (to help you make plans) www.familyfuntwincities.com/j...
If these ideas aren’t exactly your style, you can always check out our calendar www.familyfuntwincities.com/f...
Any links you will need are in the show notes. And also, some of these events are partners. We only partner with events and organizations that we can get behind, so please know that these activities whether they are partners or not, are approved by the FFTC team.
And if you like the Weekend Top 3, please give us a Thumbs up or share or show any social media love you can.
Here we go: the Weekend Top 3.
Theater in the Park: High School Musical www.familyfuntwincities.com/t...
Let’s go to the Theatre in the Park. Central Park in Roseville to be exact.
A Rosefest summer festival tradition, theater in the park is performed on the last Sunday of the week-long event. This year’s production is again performed by Arts Garden non-profit community theater. Your teenagers will be singing along! June 30, 2024, shows at 2 & 6pm. FREE, suggested donation of $10/pp to help with costs.
Apple Valley Freedom Fest
www.familyfuntwincities.com/t...
This weekend kicks off Apple Valley Freedom Fest at JOhnny Cake Ridge Park East-in Apple Valley. The festival begins Friday and features a carnival all weekend with unlimited ride wristbands for $20. On Sunday, grab $2 root beer floats at the Apple Valley Senior Center. More fun to come over the Fourth of July. June 29-30, 2024.
Try a round of mini golf: Como Park Mini Golf
www.familyfuntwincities.com/j...
Located in the historic Como Park, enjoy a round of golf and the newly renovated course, now managed by Wheel Fun Rentals. We do miss some of the old classic mini golf obstacles that were included in the original course. What remains are mostly simple putting greens. However, a brand new set of nine holes has been added to the existing 18 if you’re up for a bit more of a challenge. After your golf game, head over to the zoo, the conservatory, carousel or any of Como’s other fun amenities. Cost varies from $6-$12 for the number of holes you choose to pay.
A classic summer weekend is upon us and The Weekend Top 3 is just the beginning of the fun this weekend. Have a great Weekend and let them know Family Fun Twin Cities sent you!
