308 is perfectly capable of one hole groups. I have a BLASER R93 LRS I bought nearly three decades ago that shoots one hole groups with tuned handloads of 155gr Sierra PALMA bullets and H380.

For those who can't shoot same hole, don't think anyone else can either, here's what you've missed out on. 1. Obviously you never had a grandpa that put a single ink dot on a piece of typing paper, hung it at 100 yards, gave you an open sight rifle and said hit the dot. 2. It requires a same hole rifle, not many out there these days, unless some buger eating moron takes his grandpa's custom built benchrest favorite and trades it at the gunshow for a new artsy fartsy new caliber that shoots a 2 1/2 inch group right out of the box 3. Ammo that is tuned to your rifle. Either you or a custom reloader you hired, produced and shot numerous loads through your gun until you found the best load that matches your twist 4. Hair trigger, I prefer around a 1/4 lb pull, be sure and run the freezer test on automatics to avoid double tapping 5. Peep sights are Obviously going to give you the best sight picture, but scopes can achieve same hole also, somewhat rarely, but you can succeed. I normally run 8-40×56mm on most of mine. 6. Develope Zoom Eye. This is where you train your subconscious side of your brain to override the conscious side of your brain. 7. Practice, practice, practice

Found your channel today. Subscribed after reaching 2 min on video number 3...That has never happened :-) Love this build so far... You had me at Hello/"Let me show you how I reload"... A while back (long long time ago), in a country far, far away.... I reloaded my own .338 Lapua Mag for "My Precious/Green Death" TRG 42... Single stage RCBS... All was good! And then "Life" came along.... Fell into a hole... Had to sell the TRG And then a non-shooting female worked her voodoo on me... BEWARE!!! I am now hearing more cries, than gunshots... Calibrating more diapers, than powder measures... (But wouldnt change it for the world!) 🙂 AND... I am NOT smelling NAPALM in the morning! The female is now under control. The kids know the word "NO!" So I am rebuilding the armory :-) I would love to have Your take on "modern precision reloading"... (and if it is already out there... read the first line again) :-)

Area 419 press, 1200, Primal Rights priming tool 650, rcbs micrometer die meh, Accurate-tac hydro bi-pod 1200 the rifle dunno but I wood guess 4-5000, glass didn’t see brand but would guess 4000 range, getting the picture, this guy is well off or possibly a sponsored competitor.

Those reloading clips were pretty mesmerizing, pretty sure I didn't blink. Even the tools/equipment looked top notch if not custom. Hardly see any of that unless you specifically type it in. Hi Piet, great video as always, love the intro too. I have a question for you about the video. When you where dry firing the rifle for the first time I noticed when you pulled the trigger the bolt would move a very little amount, then when you had it loaded with a bullet and pulled the trigger the bolt does not move. Why would the bolt have moved if only dry firing?

I forgot what bullet you are shooting. 2830fps is pretty fast for a .308. Just reloaded a batch of 300 PRC during my lunch brake today. Good times. Bergara Premier 300 PRC in a Spuhr "SICS" Chassis.

Area 419 has them. Search “gold” and it will take you right to it! Just ordered one on Tuesday and I get it today! So cool! They’re only available in .30 but who cares! So cool!
