I'm sorry that you didn't have the patience to check out some extended twitch livestreams of actual minute-to-minute gameplay from the initial release and realise that it wasn't an chilled out experience offering pure exploration - with the option to prepare for a risky expedition to a hazardous planet in search of rare rewards where your survival skills would be tested - but was a survival exploration game with an excessive amount of inventory management where you never got the option to avoid hazardous planets, swarms of pirates, or an interplanetary war and just walk around taking photos and leaving footprints. Although the game did change on its release due to a day one update the guy Daymeeuhn who paid a couple of thousand dollars to get the game early did stream the game and a lot of people were able to cancel their preorders as a result. They clearly shouldn't have preordered a game that they knew so little about, but then nobody should preorder anything, not even for the bonuses as they will usually sell these to you as DLC later if you really want them. But, ultimately No Man's Sky isn't the worst offender compared to Call of Duty as it lacks Microtransactions. Sean Murray even joked about putting them in the game and everyone believed him and was in shock until it became clear it was an April Fool: twitter.com/nomanssky/status/715999728320843776 You can criticise No Man's Sky for having atrocious gameplay and UI design and zero framing narrative and no real challenge and an unobtainable goal, but at least it doesn't expect you to pay for Drop Pods to expand the size of your inventory (like Call of Duty does with its sale of extra Loadout Slots), or the Frequency of a new Beacon that identifies the location of a Blueprint in an Atlas Station, Colonial Outpost, Crashed Starship, Infected Research Station, Manufacturing Facility, or Shelter Kiosk for you to get all exited about flying to without knowing what to expect when you get there (which would be far more cool than Call of Duty's dull Advanced Supply Drops, even if it did have them).

Kyle Billen preordering BF1 deluxe edition was the dumbest thing I did. The game ended being worth less than half of what I paid and was cheesy casual shit. It was like the launch of Battlefront EA except with a WW1 skin. Fucking Dying Simulator Nazi Edition. Lack of content, explosive spam, shit ton of one hit kill weapons and the battle pack system getting fucked up forever ruined that game for me. Not to mention that the Xbox version sucked dick. Slow movement speed and awkward aiming screwed me over compared to BF4's fast and smooth gameplay. Shit load of game-breaking glitches no one bothered to point out in reviews of the game. No German campaign and all the German actors sounded like fucking Nazis when they spoke English. As if they were the most diabolical things on earth. Instead of getting an impartial story of both sides we get a story of some brits mowing down Krauts by the hundreds. Fucking insulting. DICE Stockholm pushed this game out, was insanely slow on updates and then shoveled it over to DICE LA (the competent version of DICE Stockholm). DICE lost a ton of respect from me ever since swbf came out and BF1 further sank them down on my shit list of triple A companies. I swear if they mess up swbf2 this year. I will personally see to their online execution. DICE PLS FIX!

If you want microtransactions and RNG done Near Perfectly, look no further than BF4. Weapon attatchments were earned and the variants for those attachments were locked behind rng with one HUGE difference: You waouls always have all attatchments by the time you got the 5th weaponpack from using your weapon. Camos rolled in all packs and those packs could always be earned at a decent pace by playing or bought if you were that fkn lazy. Oh and weapons were never included in these pack, you had to fckn earn your gun and gadgets.

The dumbest things I ever spent money on were supply drops. I never bought them in Black Ops 3, but I spent $6 on three advanced supply drops on Advanced Warfare and got nothing useful in return. I still feel ripped off.

This is why I love your videos so much, you call out the garbage that call of duty has been doing for quite some time now. I'm so tired of the supply drops, crates, w/e ya wanna call them. Besides the fact that I Infinite Warfare tanked like Titanfall 1 did, I'm thoroughly disappointed in the fact activision has just grown money hungry destiny started out looking nice then it just turned into a money pit. Infinite Warfare is no different, I do wanna cut black ops 3 some slack though because the game was very well done but the supply drops were stupid and you always get a crap ton of duplicates unless you buy 60$ and even then you don't get anything. I stopped buying supply drops and silly gun camos a long time ago. But I really think this supply drop era activision stays in needs to change.

To be entirely honest, RNG loot systems are the worst addition to the gaming industry since microtransactions. Unless the gaming consumers smarten up and stop buying into them, gaming will quickly fall to ruin. I truly hope we see an end to RNG loot. It's in the best interest of our beloved industry.
