You have a business to run and keep alive. If there is no business, there is none of the value RNG provides. If anything, it’s the only logical move. Allowing people a chance to preorder the way you get to as a store is a privilege that you worked hard for. It seems like asking for cash upfront and following the timing the way your distro expects from you is an absolutely reasonable request to keep things running. Sorry you had a bad experience with this, but in the end, if reasonable guidelines can’t be followed, then it’s not the service for that patron; and that’s cool too. 👍🏼 Best of luck! 🙏🏼

Honestly...just don't even order it from distro until deadline, and confirm with customers around 3-5 days before distro deadline. Straight up no take backs. Unfortunately I think the way you're doing it, you aren't collecting payment until you have the product which would get you screwed even if you did do it this way, but it would at least stop you from ordering 48 cases and then finding out they only want 6 on the deadline day

This is a perfectly sensible business move. Anyone who is upset with this is looking for a quick deal and nothing more. While it's fine to not have undying loyalty to the LGS you buy from, being upset that you can't put them in positions that risk their chances of surviving as a business is clown behavior.
@culturegeekgaming23908 ай бұрын
for honest people, it's fine to comply with honest conditions, pay upfront It will avoid you stress and loss if too many people cancel their orders I know from talking to 2 local game store owner it's hard and a need a huge budget,and spendings (rent, many long days, vat, stock, ebbs and flows if TCG works well or not) or loan to sustain it, it's fair to ask people to pay upfront
