I would add to this by saying specific classes would take away from the gamble of infield/outside - you get rewarded for making the better choice! Which is definitely didn't do with Romans cab 😉

This was a good idea. Definitely something to try again, that mix of "how well do I know the car" and whether you can rely more on speed or handling. Great race, shame about the lag and the multiple contacts.

IMO this track can have its own playlist. This track, with Random All Select, can be quite competitive and interesting to watch. The quick decision making after completing a lap makes it better.

10:04 I suggested that format, you can blame me too (I don't think I was the only one). I thought at the time it would be fair and give a better racing feel to random races. I can see that the random select (but not in the same order) is also a good alternativ and maybe less boring :)

I really like this idea of everyone getting cars in the same order, its much more competitive and consistent than everyone getting them in random order. Also the idea of multiple paths is great, I love how there's decision making involved!

Really liked this racing mode! I think random all works great here - it presents both hard and easy (unless you are Broughy in Romans cab, lol) decisions. And despite randomness it's competitive too! Best of both worlds

It's not about top speed making you take the outer ring, it's about good acceleration making you take the infield, I really thought he would have caught that sooner

I think that with this track isn’t a battle of High Grip/High Acceleration Vs Top Speed but rather its typically High Grip/High Acceleration vs Low Grip/Low Acceleration. Also maybe factor in turning radius of some vehicles being a atrocious

Good race, Broughy. 🙂 Just by chance is there a way to create a discipline system, for those that are constantly on the horn? I only ask because it really hurts my senses with my autism, and makes it hard to enjoy the video. If not, then I understand, it just would have been nice to implement a three strike rule, or something. I guess it also depends on the occasion as well... I must say, what was done with the police sirens becoming mostly all (not super bright) lights, made a big difference to me, so thank you, for that btw. Looking forward to more races soon.

for cases like the horn getting stuck there's not a lot we could do server wise to fix that since that's a case of lag, but we do have it in the rules that you shouldn't be obnoxious on the server, that can include horn spamming, people have been binned for not respecting this

Suggestion: Random Checkpoint. Each lap you change cars BUT it can be at any checkpoint, not just the first. This means you’d have random vehicles for a more varied amount of time.

The idea of a random select on this track is great, but I think you need the random order. New it seems that's it's just a 'follow the leader' kind of race where you base you decision on the cars in front of you.

This would also work with the tracks that have an off road route and a road route I really like the idea of random select on this track and the same car each lap works well as you can see what everyone else chooses - when its a random order and same cars - you can forget (or cant see at all) what others choose to do with that car. But that filthy curb boosting line has to go haha.

Unless the in lap was literally half as short I really feel like the speed difference of just doing the oval would have been faster in basically every situation. Most vehicles will do 120-ish while some of those corners even in fast cars were 40mph and accelerating back up to 80 to go back down to 50ish etc etc Plus a ton of mistakes can be more easily avoided on the oval. Dunno. Was a fun little race tho.

I love all Broughy's content - try to watch a Gfred every couple of days - of all kinds but this was a tough watch for me. Racing on an oval when it isn't tight is v. boring & that was the case for some of this race. Maybe I'm salty (never heard the term before Broughy) because I felt this was the 2nd successive time people seemed to be deliberately trying to take out Broughy on the first lap. I don't mean the first collision but subsequent ones seemed (always with the proviso of lagging) deliberate. If you're hoping Broughy is going to be competitive that kills a bit of the enjoyment of the race especially one in which everyone has the same vehicle. Also I have to say when Broughy took Roman's Cab on the inside I couldn't quite believe it. It's not the track's fault. I have enjoyed the choice part of it in the past if not the overall race but having the same order made it look like a testing video for the track. I can't say it wasn't different but I just didn't enjoy it. Because it's Broughy I'm still going to give it a like. PS I'm glad Broughy enjoyed it & let's be honest that's a million times more important and I genuinely mean that. He's given me so much pleasure over the last couple of years.

the PH team did look at slipstreams previously but none of them really fit what they were looking for, coding their own slipstream isn't worth the effort, and the retail slipstream setting is hard-coded to the point that we can't tweak it overall the general idea is the team doesn't believe it'll add to the experience

Broughy, I'm gonna be very honest here. I love watching your videos, especially Gfreds and random races but my god I get so annoyed watching these races because of how badly other people are driving. Crashing into you all the time, reversing onto the racing line... It drives me crazy.
