The woman who owned them called them her babies, despite knowing they already bit two people previously, and hiding the fact that she and her husband intentionally raised them to be aggressive, using meat as a reward. And in the interview I watched, she was only focused on herself and the dogs, and didn't really show any remorse for the man's death, the woman, nor anyone else who was injured, or whose lives that's been forever changed due to their negligence and irresponsibility.

Yes, actually, I can. I have been attacked by pitbulls. I lost the use of my right hand for a year. I was in my 40s and had help fighting them off. My 71 yr old mother was attacked while getting her mail by 3 Rottweilers that live next door as "guarddogs." Dogs are dangerous, especially in groups of more than 1. But even 1 powerful dog can take you down in the right circumstances. It is incredibly violent to be in the middle of a frenzied attack by multiple strong dogs. People don't realize what their dogs can do. It's time owners who train their dogs to be aggressive to humans and do not keep them contained, are held accountable! Prison time

I had a metal fence with jagged cutting at bottom installed: that will scrape the Pitbulls back if he digs to get into my yard. That is what I had to do as my neighbor will do nothing. ASC did nothing either. It is not the breed -it is the owner. I am glad these 2 were charged and incarcerated.

Because these types of dogs are already suffering when they have lived under severe stress, neglect and/or abuse that would make them that way. I wouldn't wait for the police, as they could kill someone before they arrive. I also know someone who raised a pit from a litter of fighting dogs. She would lash out and bite people whenever she got excited. Then the d¥mb bich thought it was best to breed her, as it would calm her down. That didn't work. Smdh...

My father spent more than a couple of decades as an insurance adjuster and got to spend lots of time dealing with lawyers when dealing with suits. He passed away several years ago, but occasionally some event will occur and I will remember something that he said on some subjects. When it comes to animal attacks, he would tell us if your dog escaped your yard and caused injury (especially to children), make damn sure you DO NOT have a "Beware of Dog" sign on your fence. It will be used in court to PROVE that you knew your animal was dangerous and a menace. He always taught us not to have animal we could not control. He had some hunting dogs that were kept securely fenced, all very gentle dispositions, but kept secure (just in case).

The wife's sister was arrested for threatening neighbors if they told the police anything about the dogs or the family. She had supposedly threatened at least one neighbor that she would murder the neighbor's small children and have the bodies dragged to her yard. The entire family is made up of real charmers.

My neighbor has several vicious orchids, but they have never escaped.... The neighbor on the other side does have dogs, but none are pit bulls, just a chihuahua mix, a dachund mix, a pug mix, a husky mix and a German Shephard mix. Thier fence is in awesome condition and they don't even bark, and have never gotten out except on walks etc. We have more trouble with the wild horses and donkeys crapping in our yard.

Yep. They were a severe case probably meth but many dog owners are totally selfish and feel above the law. I live near a park with about 20 signs that say leash your dogs and around 50% ignore them. They take over the area creating chaos and fighting. Plus the owners yell when they wouldn’t have to if they just used a leash like the numerous signs ask. The chill dog owners also get pounced on and they have to pick up small dogs. So many fails in this horrific story. The owners of the dogs-fail. The city officials-fail. The law needs updated! With the history these dogs had, they should’ve been euthanized where before now. Where I live, my landlord had to personally see my dog before letting me rent. He said that his property insurance wouldn’t cover any damages if a tenant’s dog was certain breeds because of known instances of those certain dogs being historically aggressive. He said he didn’t want to face a lawsuit if a tenant’s dog attacked someone. So, if these people rent, as this story makes it sound like they do, property owner-another huge fail. This was preventable. I don’t like to hear of frivolous lawsuits, but in the instance of this tragedy, I do hope the family seeks justice. It will never bring back this precious man but, maybe just maybe, it will bring change to the local laws. Rest in peace sweet soul. Your love was evident as you gave your life to protect your wife 💔

Another episode of Fear Thy Neighbor 😮… If happen some years ago. The neighbors dogs attacked a cat lady and they purposely let their dogs out knowing the Lady’s daily routine of feeding the neighborhood stray cats and they mauled her to death. The worst part of it is that they heard the lady screams and did nothing about it

Update-- These 2 idiots are now in jail. They were sentenced to 18 years for him & 15 years for her. They most likely trained those dogs to be vicious:( If they didn't, they just let them take over. It wasn't the 1st time the dogs attacked either. RIP to the poor man who lost his life in that brutal attack.

They say that because it's the truth. Humans brought this breed into existence. Your right, it is in their make up to be aggressive, but that's because of the OWNERS and decades of training by the OWNERS. So yes the OWNERS are to blame. Those dogs did not train themselves, the OWNERS did. When OWNERS get this kind of dog they know exactly what they are getting and why. Humans own these dogs not the other way around. So yes the OWNER most certainly should be blamed and held accountable, not the dog.This never would have happened had the OWNERS been more responsible. It's sad anyway you cut it. I never said it would.They were bred from the begging to be killing machines. Why? I don't know. For all the decades of training to get them this way it will take as many if not more to change it. But when people go out and get these dogs they know the reputation of this breed. It has been proven over and over again how unpredictable and violent they are. So when someone goes out and gets this breed of dog, knowing the reputation, and brings it home to their family then they absolutely have to be held accountable for what that dog does. Fact is showing it to much love and sleeping with it is what got the baby killed. You have to be strict and leave no doubt you are the alpha if the dog ever thinks it's the alpha and you piss it off your dead there are 100's of cases were a well treated dog just one day snapped, they all the time go after other dogs

Plenty of evidence to show these animals trained those other animals to be aggressive and attack multiple people. They wanted those dogs to attack all of the people they hate. Many times, many people would have the dogs try to attack and call to them to get their dogs, and nothing. They need prison.
