Today we haul some logs from the neighbor's in the moritz dump trailer, then come back and do some work around the new equipment and sawmill shed with the Kubota SVL97-2 Skid Loader.

We live in Western Pa. and Have around 100 Acres of Land, About 1/2 is ours the rest is my moms, We have 4 kids and two grandchildren, 3 Golden Retrievers and one Cat. We enjoy working on our property and making improvements. We sell firewood and soon will be selling hardwood lumber.

I noticed that everytime you do work in the wood yard, you end up moving those baskets almost every time. It might be a good project to create a basket storage area where they are permanently placed so they won't have to be moved every time. I really love watching your videos.

I decided to rent a track loader to spread a load of stone this week at my mother in law’s house after seeing what you do with one. I have never run one before. I have to say that I was so impressed with how easy it was. So much easier than my farm tractor.

I love burning wood. We live in a small house and heat the whole place with a double wall box stove. The stove has a thermostat that turns it blower on and off. If you have a hot air furnace with duct work you can connect the stove into that system. Our other stove is packed away. If we lose power for an extend period we might dig it out. It's not hard to set up, but the parts are heave. It was made to be taken apart so it could be put in the back of a wagon. It's a wood fired cast iron cook stove that's over 100yrs old. The last time we lost power for over a week due to a major ice storm we cooked all our meals on it. I even did a lamb roast in the oven.

You me mentioned building a lean to on one side of your new pavilion. I would suggest building one on both sides and storing milled lumber under one and firewood under the other. Putting log siding in the 3 outside walls would help keep your milled lumber protected while drying

We had a shelter like yours built 3 years ago. Birds are a big problem, constant crap on all of the equipment. I've been looking for netting or cheap ceiling material to keep them out. I hope it's not an issue for you.

Talked about maybe in closing one side of your pavilion have you ever thought of tarps that roll up that way in the summer you can roll it up it will stay open in the winter you can bring them down they do it a lot on a big freestyle Barnes you can even make it automatic it will open and close on its own high winds lot of rain it will automatically close and by temperature

Keep in mind the massive amounts of water that's going to come off that roof try to direct it into a swell I have my gutters pipe down the hill to the street and I can't believe how much water comes out of those pipes 80% of a 4-in diameter

Maybe some storage for lumber as well. I would think with prices so high that some lumber sold would help you finish other projects quicker but your far from broke or missing a meal.. or maybe like me should skip a meal once in a while. I just smell a calorie and its converted to pounds
