Ten years or 10 thousand hours is said to be required to make an expert out of someone in their chosen activity. I truly believe with the finesse that you demonstrate with the skid loader and other equipment that, you have done that and more. Something is satisfying about watching you handle logs, grade roads, or move gravel then lay it down so precisely. Well done, Mike!

Absolutely !! You're an absolute marvel on that skid loader, Mike !! The way you unload that gravel is amazing - so evenly spread !! Don't blame you for not liking the city - just too much traffic !! Say "Hi" to Hunter and Eva for me, please !! Also, let's see Ty, your grandson - haven't seen him or his sister for ages !! Thanks.

Mike, several years I took a group of kids (children) to Atlanta for an over nighter to a Word Of Life fun activity, we had to go to a Hockey game that was an expierance for me too. We were sitting just above the glass about 5-6 rows back, the puck came off the ice & traveled up into the audience, a guy 8-9 rows behind us stood up and caught it with his bare hand, then proceeded to real from the sheer speed of the puck. "It Hurt", but he went home with himself a trophy, a sore hand too! ☹😖 later after that game we had a bowling ally to go too. While they were doing that I took a good nap, Whew, did I need that❗

Mike, I am with you on going to the city. I hate it. W live and worked for many years in a small town about 85 miles south of Spokane, WA. This is a big enough town for us! My office was tucked in under the grand stands of the local sports stadium. We have NEVER attended A football, or basket ball game in the 40+ yeas that we have lived here. We currently live about 10 nukes north of town, and we like it that way. As we are both in our 70s, Emergency transport is always on our minds. A year ago we had the need to call 911, and the ambulance arrived within 10 minutes of making the call. Volunteers arrive before my wife got off the phone, so we are staying right where we are. I really enjoy watching your videos, they are quite professional in content, and quality. I do have to wonder why the new pavilion does not have at least one side wall/

I call that stuff landscape fabric. Use it under rock and mulch to keep weeds out of flower beds and landscaped areas. Never thought it tough enough to use in driveway. Huh. Great idea using the torch. I always struggle with utility knife. Learned something new today. Thanks 👍
@albertbuikema4451
@albertbuikema4451 Жыл бұрын
It's different.... there's a bunch of different types of "landscape fabric" and trust me... as a landscaper for almost 20 years you would be surprised how long it takes to figure out what to use and when. Also. I don't recommend putting cloth under mulch. Mulch decomposes back to dirt and weeds grow ontop of it. Under rock yes, just so the soil doesn't mix with it but you should be cleaning it every year or 2 or the weeds will start to grow regardless.
@roberthughes2665
@roberthughes2665 Жыл бұрын
@@albertbuikema4451 Very true. Seems like weeds will grow on top no matter what. Ugh. Just dirt in the air or the mower blowing debris it's the landscaping can add up fast. Frustrating. I used to buy from box store and then bought some from nursery in bulk - feels like real cloth type fabric rather than plastcky like he used in this video. There are almost too many options. Makes my head hurt. Ha.

I & Kubota can thank you for leading me to a Kubota BX2380. We needed a replacement for our old & rapidly dying Simplicity Land Lord garden tractor, & needed the rototiller & snowblower attachments. No more belt drives!! Our neighbor has a Bobcat tractor with a bucket we can borrow any time needed, so that saved us from having to go bigger with the MX or LX models for a bucket, & no room for storage, although the Kubota LX model with the cab, is a beautiful machine!!! 😍😍😛👍👍 Maybe down the road? 🙏🙏 I understand the thing with orange, because I also have a Stihl MS 251 chainsaw. ❤️❤️

The size of the arena does indeed change perspective when the players arrive. I went to a Hawks basketball game many years ago with my son and the arena looked about normal while the early festivities were going on, but when the players came on to the floor, it's as if the whole arena shrank by a huge amount. I started out with a shed like yours. At first it didn’t have gutters. Thought I’d save money on the project. I learned that gutters are important. It keeps the roof runoff from blowing into and onto equipment and people. In addition I added full walls half the length on both sides to keep the elements and sunshine off the tractor and some attachments. So after some thunderstorms, sun and snow the open concept didn’t stay that way for long. Lol. I appreciate having the shed I just needed to make adjustments to counteract or minimize what weather can do to the contents of the shed. Also, the barn swallows love it lol.
