I can see from the documentary that everything is hand-picked. Not one person acknowledged what happened to Gaza, was Gaza's fault. No apologies to the ones who were genocided on the 7th of October. I have Sicilian relatives that also harvest olives this way. We are all humans and no one should be being bombed and have their homes and lives taken away from them. @@Rayruey Yes we do! The season can be quite long, stretching into Januari. Locally (east Portugal) they say it's the foreigners who start first in November, the locals are later, over the border in Spain, they often start in Januari. I guess we are a little bit further up north. Interestingly, the language got a bit mixed up on olives and the trees. The tree is called Oliveira, but the fruit is... Azeitona!

@ Oh wow azietona is ended the Arabic word olives🤩 a/al= the Zeiton= olive fruit (plural) Zeitona= olive fruit (singular) Zeit= oil If u wanna say olive oil u say “zeit azeiton) I never before thought about how much common all countries on the Mediterranean have in common It’s heartwarming !☺️

Palestinians are God’s chosen people. No wonder they have been going through so much hardship and yet they have this amazing calmness in them. I dream of that day when Palestine is an independent country with their own airport. I’d the first one to visit them. Love you Bisan. What a truly informative sharing on the farmers and people harvesting olives in Palestine. Farmers sharing and helping each other is a humanitarian concept in agriculture prior to the big corporate agriculture giants buying foreclosed farm land 20 years ago in the USA.
