Just wanted to add; Those Stanley cooksets have a huge following with lots of KZbin vids and many mods you can make on them. I have one and have done some mods, including a coffee press addition. But the issue is they are NARROW as you found out, and they don't fit on my Out-D alcohol stove or my Coleman Duel Fuel 533 without tipping easily. So I use the Arcadia Outdoor Cookset instead because it's a wider pot set, yet super light and non-stick. I also have a home in Florida (St. Augustine) and ride and camp there quite a bit. I've been all over the state and have moto-camped form Florida to Washington State. Keep your great videos coming. They are great! The only difference between our camping styles is that you do wine and I do beer. So you are a tad more sophisticated. Mahalo!

Thumbs up to you for recommending toasted head wine! Had a bottle of that on my bike trio to Vermont was very tasty. Took a lot of tips from your trip to use on my own. Very helpful. The beringer pinot noir is very good also.

Glad you like the Toasted Head...it's become almost a staple for me when I'm camping but I like to change it up from time to time. Thanks for watching!

Cool camp trip. I am jonesing for a camp out. Haven't been since August. My dog has been having issues with here legs so she not as mobile. It's cool enough in the desert now so hopefully we can get one in soon. Glad to hear you are back at it.

Man I hate to hear about dogs being let down by their bodies...I had the best dog ever and his body gave out long before his spirit did. Hopefully your girl rebounds. Have you tried Prednisone? It was like a miracle drug for my little guy and bought him some quality time in his later years. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the concern. We are trying a couple of new drugs which are helping some. Hopefully in a couple weeks. Enjoy the cool weather and be safe.

Ha! Yeah I've cursed in plenty of my videos but I try to keep it reasonably family-friendly around here. Plus I recently discovered that my mom is subscribed to my channel so I gotta be gentle on her innocent southern ears lol

Nice to see another video from you! I stole your idea for bringing wine along recently when I went on a 4-day motorcycle camping trip. It was a great idea! I figured my preferred beverage, beer, would take up too much space and having me running to the facilities in the middle of the night due to sheer volume. I'm not very picky tho -- I grabbed some of those small portable 'boxes' of wine. (They tasted fine to my amateur palate.)They hold about 3 glasses each and made transporting a few in my top case extremely easy. So thanks for the idea!
@GoSutto8 жыл бұрын
Yeahhh!! Man I consider wine a necessity for camping. Perfect balance of reasonable volume, high-ish octane a sippability. I'll check out the little boxes...I've seen them but never tried them. They'd be great for camping on the motorcycle because after they're empty you could smash them down to almost nothing. Thanks for the idea!

What's up man! Awesome that I stumbled across your vids. I also am a fan of S&S, and have been inspired. I even recorded a couple vids (not of your caliber of course) The wine is a great idea, and for whatever reason I didn't think of the boxed ones! I knew I didn't want to take glass. I often wondered if I could fill a camel back in place of my water...lol..jk. I think I need to pick up that coleman container you showed there. I've seen it enough, that I need to just make one mine. Anyways, I'm subbed up to you, and look forward to some more. Take it easy friend.
@GoSutto8 жыл бұрын
Ha! Man I've thought about putting wine in my Camelbak too! When you really have to pack light it's hard to beat the boxed wine because once it's empty you can burn the box and you just have to carry out the plastic bag. I keep a Sea to Summit X Mug in my cook kit and it's perfect for wine, coffee...anything. Collapses down to nothing so it's easy to carry. I subbed to your channel...gonna check out your videos tonight. Thanks for watching!

Hey Sutto...what's a good place in FL for motorcycle camping?
@pierreeversole2658 жыл бұрын
What kind of tank bag did you use on your USA tour?
@GoSutto8 жыл бұрын
+Pierre Eversole I can't remember the exact mode but it's a magnetic Cortech. Might be the Super Mini? It isn't huge but big enough for my camera, multitool, first aid kit, maybe/maybe not a gun and a few other things.
@pierreeversole2658 жыл бұрын
That's the one that works on my V-Strom. Others are too big. Enjoyed your tour.... thanks.
