It's (Finally) Time to Go Racing; back behind the wheel at Wilmot, WI.

We head northwest from Indy to Wilmot Wisconsin to compete with the Interstate Racing Association Sprint Cars to open the season. In addition to being the first race of the season, this is the first trip to Wilmot Raceway for the ‪@lambexcavating6781‬, ‪@DirtPerfect‬, ‪@diamondequipment6219‬ , ‪@skillsusa‬, ‪@groundtoglory‬ 77.

@@groundtoglory I thought I heard you say back a couple videos ago about going to Quincy to race. Were you referring to Butler Speedway in Quincy, Michigan??

@@claytonl.covell2634 yeah we had hoped to go to butler (again, we went there last year). Unfortunately that race already took place and we didn’t go, as it stands it doesn’t look like we have any Michigan races this year. Look for us at Maverick races here in indiana, a trip to northwestern Ohio, and perhaps one more trip west, likely 8/2-3 weekend.

Great Job the first race is always tuff. Raced at IRP before leave at 5:30 am and get back at 5:30 am the next day. Thanks

Usually late in the going that track needs a tight car. It drys and slicks off quite a bit.

Liking the on track footage. Is it as bumpy as it appears on camera? I think I would be peeing blood after giving my kidneys a beating like that. Had hoped to go see some of those races in Indiana, like Bloomington or TH. Havent been to the Action Track in probably 40 years. But I ended up going to San Diego that week so it didn’t work out. Thanks for taking us along. 😺

@@James_Scheid wilmot was rough. The camera actually smooths it out a little bit. They finally bladed it down after the dashes I believe and it was better (the grader operator was wearing a fire suit which I thought was impressive, or maybe he just took matters into his own hands)…but it was a little bit of a rodeo. I think we are going to go back to The action track in September, and will be at Bloomington, IN / Olney, IL Friday/sat next weekend. Hopefully we can catch up at a race yet this year!
