Overcoming a Breakdown, More Shaky Ground, and a Snow Storm!

Great job, getting better every video! The music and voice overs in the time lapse was good! Good call on the backwater valve with combined sanitary and storm will save future clean up in the house. One thing I would tell people is the stand pipe for the backwater valve is so the cartridge can be serviced without digging it up.

First off thank you! I think we are getting better little by little. It's nice to hear others see it as well. You know your stuff! I should have elaborated on how the stand pipe works: It is a 6" sch-40 riser with female adapter and plug. Inside is a 2" sch-40 pipe that gets glued into a housing that holds the rubber flap. There is another housing with a set screw that gets glued on the top of the 2" near the 6" plug so that, as you mentioned, the cartridge can be removed without digging. It also allows the backwater valve to double as a cleanout. We like to install them at the end of the line, as opposed to at the house because when the sewer is surcharged you can still flood yourself on your own water (I guess that's better because you know whose poo it is?) so by installing at the end of the line, you have the max volume of the pipe to live on until the sewer surcharge subsides. Thanks for helping me elaborate on what we installed there!

Richard, Thank you for the compliment. We make plenty of them...so as I get more comfortable with how to film jobs and keep the camera running I'm sure we will catch some! Hopefully it'll make mistakes less painful knowing that they make good content!

I’m guessing the electrical issue on the truck was a case of the green crusty that cause a wire to not make contact and then possibly break.

Well bad, corroded ground connection was my best guess for Clifford. But you said thats not it. So I'm out of ideas given the amount of information; died and light issue. Dont even know if Clifford is gas or diesel. Assuming diesel, but... Maybe a fuse blown?

James, we thought a fuse as well....but that wasn't it. It has a cat c7 diesel acert in it for a motor.
