Great work on this vid Ty, and congrats to Zach on his biggest fish. A few years ago an absolute monster Arapaima broke my heart in the Essequibo - she was roughly 250lbs and seven ft. long. Fought her for just over two hours and just when we were going to land her she made one last exhale and spit the entire half of the black piranha bait. I still have dreams about that fish, maybe one day I'll get there again and cross paths with her!

Absolutely awesome man...heck of a fish. Reminds me of a very scaled down experience I recently had fighting a 42" (20lb) Tiger Muskie on a 5'6" Light/Ultralight rod while fishing a ned rig on 6# test for smallies by myself in a rowboat with only a tiny net 😮 damn thing dragged me around the res for 15-20 minutes lol Tight lines my man 👍🏼

Great story, reminds me of the time I was fishing in a strip pit in KS. I didn't catch a single thing but tree branches and mosquito bites. But still it was a nice time just chillin with friends and having a good time. Unfortunately, I have never caught a true trophy fish. I did, however, catch a pretty nice catfish on a zebco 202 using Old Roy large chunk lamb and rice dry dog food. A pretty cool trick a buddy of mine taught me.

Good job now its time to take on the big fish. Went mako fishing this summer nothing under 200lbs doing marlin next year gotta save up money for my boat fuel , I use to be impressed with catfish gar and all thows big freshwater fish but saltwater is where its at for them fights that last 'hours' guys .
