I pre-ordered the double pack, I like the designs a lot, wish they were sold individually. I have no nostalgia for these devices, I loved the Tamagotchi originals, but I was a young boy in the 90's, playing with "girls toys" was heavily stigmatized and I had a dad that would get his kicks by threatening to buy girls toys as a punishment, so when they stopped being so gender neutral with their marketing and leaned more into "girls toy" territory, I was too shy to keep buying Tamagotchis. I got over that though, and have been hoping I could experience a connection since I got back into virtual pets around 2020 when fans started hyping them up and saying how great they were. I do hope this doesn't kill the chances of other vintage era re-releases though, I want an Angel and Ocean re-release and the first localization of the Morino/Garden and Devil/Monster.

This is so exciting! The V4.5 Connection was the Tamagotchi I grew up with so I finally get to have my nostalgia moment seeing the Connection line's revival lol. I still have my original V4.5 to this day and it's always been my childhood dream to get another Connection, but the second hand prices were insane lol. I wonder if the connection feature works between the vintage and new models. The past few years have been great for Tama fans, so hopefully they eventually do rereleases for the more obscure Tamagotchis like the Angel and Devil in the future as well. We can only hope, lol. 😂

The Blue Bubbles and Ice Cream shells are actually remake shells from the original V3 line! Someone on the subreddit noticed that The packaging with gold trim and gold "Connection" text indicates a shell remake, whereas silver trim and text indicates a brand new design. Pretty cool! Super excited about these rereleases!

I’m so excited! I preordered this morning. I had just woken up so I wasn’t quite coherent lol. But someone on youtube had posted about it so I ordered right away. I wish I could get them all but theres the uni to pay for too. Since my daughter started collecting now all charges are x2. 😭 We ordered the rainbow and the 2pack graffiti ones too. They all look great though. I looked a little while ago and now the 2 pack isn’t on the listing. (Or it wasn’t when I looked) hopefully that just means they’ve got enough preorders of that style for now. Usually it would just say sold out though. Not disappear. Right? Oh well, still super, super excited. I hope this means we’ll get lots of shells like they did with the original.
