Congrats bro! Getting older and being sore sucks. IMO, the biggest advantage of having an auto, aside from the obvious, is in life quality. Jobs will get done faster, and your body will thank you. After set, the only labor involved is loading, and unloading shirts. Sure there's all these other cool factors... consistency, running shirts at 250-500 an hour, etc. But getting the job done and having more time to do what you want is priceless. New to owning an auto advice: Biggest learning curve will be getting used to walking around the press to load inks / squeegees. Not that big of a deal for the payoff. Keep an eye on the ink consistently, and don't over do it on ink. Overprint colors will go longer, but white goes fast. Run a couple test prints until you get pinholes situated. It's really easy to run out of ink, or a pinhole show up and you wont notice it until you've printed a carousel worth of shirts. So first handful of shirts, keep an eye on what's going on with first dozen shirts before you really start ROQ'in. Warm up your pallets before a job, and you're golden. Looking forward to what you do with it.
@leestuart383 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot dude, that's all super valuable advice. It's going to be a massive learning curve that's for sure but I'm excited to see how it all goes

With all due respect, Mr. Lee, I'm very happy about your screen printing shop and I gladly you are progressing But let me tell you about ROQ automatic press is not for screen printing sorry but that’s my opinion I’m being screen printer industry for 20 years Being running all kind presses but the best authentic press for fast production and better quality is M&R.

@@SarahWiseGarcia the roq system is pretty simple to use. The tech usually provides some training after purchase. Roq has some pretty good video tutorials available also. The one thing that I did not care for, and I can’t remember if it was on the Eco or You system, was the digital registration set up. I much preferred the analog registration with the cross hairs vs the digital read out.
