GOTTA HAVE THE NEW MODEL Y JUNIPER!
@MrKevpas6 күн бұрын
We currently own a 2023 White Long Range Model Y, picked it up in April 2023. It’s been a great car so far. Has hardware 3, so waiting to see how well they can incorporate the newest FSD for that hardware (Currently on FSD 12.5.4). We have taken a few long distance road trips, and no issue on finding charge locations. Appreciate how some hotels offer destination charging, frequently for free! Might consider the new Juniper Model Y sometime after it comes out, but it will depend on its price and if federal or state subsidies are still available. Otherwise, I expect to have our Model Y for many years. Thanks!

I just got my model Y this week! I chose it over the 3 because it was taller and would be easier to get kids in and out of the backseat. I also love the ability to camp in it with more space. I didn’t really need ambient lighting or an extra screen in the back. I love my model Y!!!

Robert, We took delivery of a 2023 Model Y 12/1/2023. I had driven. a Model 3, went back to purchase one and was able to get into. a Model Y and decided it was a. far better choice for us. We are not young any more and the higher seating position was all it took to choose the Model Y. Since I turned 75 earlier this year, the higher seating position makes the vehicle far more comfortable, and easier to get in and out of than the much lower model 3 for my wife and I. Your videos are both informative and fun to watch. Please keep up the great work. Dave

Model 3 is not low. It's the appropriate height for the people who like to drive.. people that don't enjoy and don't know how to drive might prefer a SUV, some even a Van. It's missing the hatchback indeed

We own a Highland 3 Performance and a 2023 MY Performance. The Y is more comfortable overall. The new seats in the 3 are awesome for daily use, but travel the Y has the better seats. The 3 feels like it is absolutely sitting on the ground compared to the Y as well, and ride height is super important to a lot of people.

How is the roughness of the MYP23 over small bumps and rough roads? I’m debating the MYP25 instead of waiting for the juniper refresh because… who knows when that will be available (especially in Canada)

As a father of two teenagers, the Y made more sense to me because of all the space the double trunk the high roof compared to the Tesla 3 ( which I hit my head when I went for the test drive both, me and my son hit our heads with the roof of the Tesla 3. So there you go those were my reasons 😊

I have a new 3 LR RWD and my roommate has a Y AWD. If you need a small SUV for friends and family, band equipment etc, the Y is more practical, 4 people ride in it comfortably, but I would probably wait for the new version just to have the newer hardware. The model 3 is great as a drive for one or two people. It's smooth, fast and really fun to drive. I would gladly take it on a road trip with 2 folks, instruments and luggage, but I wouldn't want to sit in the back seat for a long distance drive, though it's not bad for short hops. It just doesn't have a lot of room. Probably fine for young kids, but adults, especially tall ones, would feel cramped. So it would depend on you usage needs and how you like to drive. Was going to get an M# LR AWD, but I was really impressed with the new RWD's acceleration and $5K savings over the AWD plus more range. At 80% battery you will get 290 mis of range.

I’m not a 6’5” tall person(5’8”), when getting in and out of the 3 vs Y, for me, the Highland is not only comfortable getting in and out of, but the price with all the incentive’s, including the 1.99 APR. for 72 mo/3.99 for 84 mo, was a no brainer for me. I’m also not a huge fan of the look of the Y(Juniper or not),IMO the 3 looks much more sleek! As far as the tech. goes, there won’t be that huge of difference(besides 500+mi. a charge, if that’s true?), getting well over 350+mi is just fine with me! I love my Highland, but again, It’s all on eyes/pocket book of the beholder, both Model’s are great! Awesome video to watch!👍✌️

I like camping and the tested the driving and laying in the back of the Y and 3 as well as BYD models. Best car I have driven and space is the model Y. Only thing that is a negative of the model Y is the lack of V2X / Powershare. I don't want to have to bring a solar panel and portable battery just for an overnight camping trip, takes up more space and you might as well use the huge battery built into the car. MG4 seems like a good car with a hatch back and V2L for a good price in Australia but would need to get the NMC battery model for enough range and I'm not that keen on having to go to a dealer and lack of storage.

There is almost assuredly no rebate in 2025 based on what Trump and Elon are saying as well as several GOP insiders. The real question is if Tesla can cut more costs and lower the price.

really want to buy first Tesla before end of year - preferably want the MYPJ but for 3 reasons best to get M3PH now? 🤔 1. M3PH will extremely likely “increase in value $7.5k” (Elon specifically emphatic this discontinue) (hopefully remove enough depreciation to make more palatable to get MYPJ in 1-2 years) 2. Buying first of a new model (any product) typically has issues to address 3. Likely MYPerformanceJ not available in NorCal until summer?

Not really I think that the car by itself stands alone. Sooooooooooo buy the smaller car if you’re in the market for a larger car because it has more modern amenities???? Better drive drive drive performance and tech but the passengers that aren’t driving should just deal with the tighter space?? The Cybertruck looks like carved processed dinner remains and has mandolin body panels to make chopped salad of your digits and limbs. I definitely agree consumers should buy both of these vehicles if they’re in the market for either of them. If the Y was on my list for consideration I probably would wait for the 2025 since we’re so close to the release. Buyer’s remorse stings.
