Wow that is a beautiful piece of art and yes, quite an undertaking, but it is gorgeous. I really like this company as well and have several of their diamond paintings. I agree, that wing and the Halo around the owl are probably 2 of my favorite parts of that art. Enjoy!!

Hey Queen, Hi there Camera King Man husband! Thank you both. PP, I"m always watching your DP videos and I really enjoy you. That is way too much for me right now because I'm way new. But that canvas is wow. You are right. Although I started DP this year and watched a ton of videos to get familiar, there is not particular way to DP. Thankfully out of all the DPters I've watched none said it should be done this particular way but I have gotten good ideas for my journey. My fav DPer is Sharing our shine. Joan of another video and DPter is a scientist with her stuff. Enjoy watching her as well. Ms. Coffee, Diamond Grandma, Bewiched Cat and her mom, are some of the others that I watch. I'm still watching tons of DP videos, it's just so cool and relaxing. I'm working from time to time on 6 different canvases. I only like full canvases. My latest one that I bought is from Dollar tree, a Sunflower, so cute. Yes it is snack size but not something you'll do all in one unless you devote the entire day. i'm savoring the drill lay down for this one as my others. My largest one is 35x45 and one of the ones in progress. Problem is when I see another DPng that really grabs me I want to start it right away. That's why I have 6 in progress. And there are more DP's I plan on ordering. Thanks to all of you DPers I've learned how to pick a canvas to get the best final diamond rendering by size or round or square. Right now I'm focusing on getting more square DPs so I can get a good feel for it. Ok well, you enjoy that 202 diamond journey. I figure maybe it'll be 2 years to see your final work on this canvas!

I've been on the hunt for what I call a "headboard diamond painting" one that is long and skinny that I would hang over my headboard but I've not come across anything like that so I'll just keep looking.

That’s gorgeous!!!! I am currently working on Toadstool Cottage which is a large one. What I am doing is sectioning off a section the size close to a 30x40 (or something that I know I can finish in a month) and within that section I have small 28 “3x3” release paper. I do one a day. It just gives me a visual and breaks down the diamond painting for me. I’d love to join but not sure since I have other large dp I am working on. It’s so gorgeous though 😱

I use the same system to kit up and I used the metal stands that you can put your light pad on to have the drills tilted and that it faster to find the symbols too.❤😊❤

It’s a southern thing!😂😂The word sissies are used to talk about surprises or extra added goodies. Like if you meet a friend and they bring you something or when you go to your hotel room and they have left a goodie basket. We call them sussies. Lots of sussies in the dp world when you get packages or paintings. 😂😂
