So fun fact. Everyone's name is a pun on their actions/personality with a naming scheme seen also in My Hero are quite ridiculous and made obvious from their intro. But with Katou and Sasaki their names/actions were quite regular giving a generic character vibe. Until here in the series where they show off. Katou Mikuni is a reference to a famous Shogi player and Sasaki Ayami is an anagram of Sukeban Deka MC Asamiya Saki who uses yoyos to fight crime.

When they were saying that she has to like Tadano and who else would it be it was intended as an Inner voice deal or monologue if you will I guess the intent just translates poorly from manga to tv When she wrote H she meant Tadano.. In Japan Names are reversed when you introduce yourself, its Family name first then Given Name so Tadano is his Family name and Hitohito is his given name in American standard his name would be Hitohito Tadano Also some funny trivia In Japanese "Tada" mean Ordinary and "Hito" means Person and Tadano's name is a play on words "Tada no hito" which means "Just an ordinary person" the pun is that hes the only ordinary or "normal" person in his class of.. lets call them "eccentric" classmates

I know the anime is going by faster because of how the episodes split-up chapters, but I get the feeling there's going to be a confession a lot sooner than in the manga. This is probably spoilers, so I'll keep it vague as possible, manga confession was like chapter 275 I think; for reference, we were never formally introduced (like we never knew her name or got a clear image of her) to Tadano's mother until like chapter 300.

When they asked for the 1st letter of the name of the person she liked it was H, Tadanos given name is HitoHito and his family name is Tadano therefore his full name is Tadano HitoHito and that's what the H was for. Also in Japan it is common to use ones Family name unless they are family or close to the individual.
