Just scrolling through the comments, what’s left to say!? Everyone in your community is so proud and downright elated for you💚💃🏼I’m glad I get to watch this, especially the parts where you mention your utility bills, the cost of machinery, the countless hours, the insane amount of help from fam & friends, we get a first hand look of what goes into the makings of a beautiful plant nursery. Never again will I complain about the high cost of things at my favorite LOCAL plant shops!!! Yikes. You got this Nicole, you are going to soar baby💫💫💫💫💫✌🏽💚🌱

I'm a novice, but self-proclaimed problem solver & engineer... 😂 What about different colors of masking tape to put small pieces on the ends of each tray with each color representing the things that plant loves!? Blue=loves damp soil Brown= less water Green=shade loving Yellow=Full sun etc? Also removable hoops on tables for use with shade cloths is what I see Lowe's garden center using all the time. Both my daughters have worked there and cursed the days they dedicated to set all those cinders/tabletops/hoops up. 😆 You're learning as you go with trial and error. I'm sure I speak for all of your friends, we love the transparency and vulnerability and comic relief!! Learning along is such a 😊 JOY!! Practice makes PROGRESS. Keep it up! Sure wish I was closer. It's coming together beautiful! Wishing you great success with it all. A YT channel you should checkout, the veggie boys , they have a family farm and greenhouses, they grow thousands of plants for their own farm and for their farm store, flowers included. Lots of tips to gleam there from a family that's been doing it for many generations. Thanks for sharing with us, I so enjoy seeing the journey.

You just have to be careful with that cause the plants under can get really splattered and messy looking since the top plants will drip on them after watering. Also with the extra moisture on the foliage you have to be careful that you dont get things like rot of things like that. At least that's what hapens in my humid climate. But I'm sure you can figure out something that will work for you in your climate! I'm loving watching and following along with your journey!!

Hi Nichole. Love what your doing. I worked at a green house in the past. Watering was key. My boss would have us do a count of three on hanging baskets when it was hot. And not water on cloudy days. Wish you the best. So excited for you and your family.

Might want to add a thin layer of vermiculite to keep the fungus gnats away. It will keep fungus gnats from laying eggs in the soil and it will keep moisture in the soil. I use it and it works very well.

Where I work we have added gutters to the sides of the benches for the spiller 4" pots. We also do the raised centers, and sometimes have a second tray of product scooted under the main bench and refill the holes as we sell. They mature slower there, but it spaces out our product a bit-- which with some annuals is helpful. Also as the green house is north south orientation the west side is somewhat different in sun than the east side.
