I was surprised yet saddened to see that as well. I may be 27 now, & have grown up with Cybertron, Bayverse, Animated then G1, I loved the G1 toy designs, especially the Diaclone & Micro Change imported ones. They have a certain charm that actually make them feel premium & timeless. This is my ultimate chance to experience the legendary toy that not only won over many hearts across generations since 1984, but also got sold out insanely quickly (which is actually true in Malaysia two weeks ago).

That's how sponsorships work, 95% of vids on YouYube have them. At least I put mine at the beginning of the video instead of the middle like most. Since day one, I've had intros where I like to engage my viewers a little before getting into the figure, and I will continue to do so. As far as promoting goes, Family Game Knight is a brand new, fairly local business that I'll gladly promote. We don't have many shops like that around here, so I'll GLADLY help get the word out about them. They didn't even ask me to do it. Don't like it? That's why I added timestamps.

I really love this figure, it’s a great homage and an awesome modern take on G1 Optimus Prime. Both modes look fantastic and there’s so many great accessories including both variants of the Ion Blaster and he even has light-piping which is great. Only downsides are he’s smaller than the G1 and the arms not tabbing in properly. Him and Quake are my favourites from the latest Legacy United wave and I can’t wait to pick them up.

Great video PPR. If Hasbro re-release this with a trailer, and the figure and trailer in cartoon colors, I MIGHT be inclined to go for it. I already have C-02, and now the 40th Anniversary Optimus, but this would be nice to have if it does come released with its own trailer in the animation colors.

I have every intention of getting Missing link Prime. But I want this little Prime as well. I might suggest a bit of Light blue pain onnthe inside of his chest, that would give his windows some Light blue without loosing the gloss

Missing Link on a budget, and it looks actually pretty good. Owning both G1 Commemorative Prime, and a childhood G2 Prime, I personally couldn't be bothered with Missing Link, but this is such a fun, novelty take on the original toy from that 84 era. Despite being smaller, looks spot on. Love they used soft rubber for the wheels, and the inclusion of three weapons.

I really hope this figure makes it to my local Walmarts or Targets, because as of late it's been really difficult to find any version of him in stock. I'm not sure if it's because he sells like hotcakes, or because they'll quickly classify most of his figures as Commander Class whenever he comes with a Trailer. But either way, I now have way more Megatrons in my collection than Optimus Primes, which is kind of hilarious.

I just got mine on Tuesday! I LOVE IT!!! And i would DEFINATELY get a Toyhax decal set. And the Walmart in Cape Girardeau got STOCKED with Legacy G1 Primes. PEGS FULL. I bet they aren't now though😂. The guns are painted translucent plastic, and the Matrix actually is a new sculpt! The one that was with Legacy Galvatron, ans every other one, except the G2 Laser Prime, was PUNY. And was there a mishap in the instructions on step 13?? AND EVERY REVIEW I HAVE SEEN HAS MISSED THE ANKLE ROTATION! I found it easier to peg the legs together BEFORE bringing them back during transformation

Great figure. Though I cant fit the cartoon accurate ion cannon in his left hand because the paint is a little thick. So the toy accurate ion cannon goes in his left hand instead. His smokestacks and axe can fit in either hand though.

Looking from underneath you can see his arms have tabs that plug into his thighs, which you don't have at a hard 90 degree angle. Once those are plugged in, my arms stayed snug against the grill.

So my copy of this mofo just came in today from Walmart...sure, it's got issues (right arm refuses to tab into place in truck mode, I may clip the tab off and fake it/force it...and the plastic really doesn't feel the best), but I actually enjoy it. One thing: you don't have it transformed quite right. At the front of the gas tanks, there are some obvious tabs that slot into some very tiny slots behind the forearms. Can't wait to see what Toyhax does in addition to the obligamatory windows (good luck with that, they're recessed due to being a separate plastic insert part that's got a really funky lookin' fit...), the obligamatory toy color stickers that are just molded in details on the figure, and the obligamatory chromed out bumper, smokestacks, & gas tanks. And for some really funny 💩💩💩💩, all these trailer options folks talk about? Another option: the trailer from SS44 DotM Jetwing Optimus Prime. It's tiny enough that it looks great with this mofo. And hilariously enough, the weapons platform mode also looks pretty sick with this in robot mode.

A couple of nights ago, I snuck in to the East Coast Hasbro Field Office. After taking out two guards...we went to dinner and a movie, they were nice, I was able to gain access to the main office thanks to lockpicking skills I acquired by playing Fallout 4. I was surprised by the Assistant to the Regional Manager who was staying late eating some Taco Bell. He asked, "Who are you?", but after I took off my ski mask, he recognized me. "Oh my God, your Patriot Prime, I love your videos! How can I help you?" I told him I needed as many unreleased figures as he could spare and he said no problem. He also gave me the only Studio Series 86 Megatron that will turn into a gun, he made me promise not to show it off though. After I loaded up my duffle bag, we enjoyed some aged Scotch and Nachos, then he flew me the 4 miles back to my house in his private Cyber Truck. .... I explained in full detail where I got the figure in the intro of this video, with footage of the store. C'mon man.
