To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Morbius. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Morbius’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Morbius truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Morbius’s existential catchphrase "It’s Morbin’ Time.”, which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Jared Leto’s genius wit unfolds itself within theaters. What fools.. how I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a Morbius tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid

I have to agree. I've paid to see Morbius 38 times. 16 other times I snuck in and left money on the seat. 25 other times I paid twice to get in. Basically my only criticism of the movie is that I never quite got the 5 minutes of extra Morbing I needed after becoming desensitized. The only cure is a Morbius sequel.

Morbius completely reshaped my very existence. Before Morbius I was partially elated to witness such a work of cinematography. When it finally came out, I was beyond stupefied. This film, on its own, manages to completely overhaul our preconceptions of modern cinema and transform it into the masterstroke that people have made it seem. I look at the reviews that praise the movie and scoff. What fools! They completely misunderstand the surreal, philosophical and existential implications of the existence of such a picture. In my heightened wisdom and ameliorated cognition, I can easily deduce the true underlying beauty behind the motion picture Morbius. To explain it via text would not do the film justice; you must experience it for yourself. I sit here, pondering if any piece of art would be able to replicate or surpass such a creation, and after some deep analysis I came to a terrifying conclusion: Morbius has completely killed the very concept of art. Such a beautifully executed plan cannot be replicated, it is a thermodynamic miracle, and because the standard of film has skyrocketed to such alpine quantum, no other piece of art, be it painted or literary could possibly surpass it. I find myself in a deep state of sorrow, as the very thing I grew up with was murdered by what can only be described as a movie made by the gods. However, this transcendental artistic specimen is so indefectible, it merits an infinite number of viewings. Morbius is the only film you will ever need to see. In the generations that follow, children will learn of such success of the human mind, and become like gods due to their minds transcending the measly conventions of modern cinematography. With great pleasure and satisfaction, I can pray to God and say "Thank you for creating Daniel Espinosa, because he created one of the films of all time".

Anyone else genuinely love morbius? Only to find that twitter and youtube are infested with trolls???? Morbheads, Assemble! If Morbius has a trillion fans I am one of them. If Morbius has 10 fans I am one of them. If Morbius has no fans, that I means I am no longer on Earth. If the Universe is against Morbius, I am against the Universe. I love Morbius until my last breath. When you think of the best movie ever made, the first that come to mind are Interstellar, Venom: Let There Be Carnage or Ant-Man and the Wasp. Well, it's safe to say that the only movie you'll think of now is Morbius (2022), starring the legendary Jared Leto (best known for his role in flawless role in Suicide Squad). Morbius is pure cinema. The acting, the cinematography, the visual effects are absolutely out of this world. There were multiple times throughout the film when I forgot that I wasn't actually there and was merely sitting in a dark, cold, lonely cinema. Every single second of the film was exhilarating, and I could feel the adrenaline shooting through my body at the speed of light. The only thing that I can think of that's negative about this film is that there weren't enough cameos from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Like where was Iron Man or joker? Or where were the cheeseburger references? Aside from that, I think this film will be remembered until the end of time. Thank you, Jared Leto.

method acting only works when there’s a character you can act upon. although i do sympathise with mr leto for constantly receiving weird comic book movie roles, i think this one’s on him. he’s tasked with creating an anti-hero with his own character beats, not method-acting out a well established character (at least not the version from the script).

Morbius is honestly the best movie I’ve ever seen. I know it sounds crazy, but it touched me. I came thrice while watching it in the theatres. I’m so glad we finally get to see Jared Leto, my favorite actor of all time, in the role of Morbius the living vampire. I thought the plot of the movie was very entertaining and original, and I never could have seen the twists coming. This is a really good change from all this Hollywood propaganda we’ve been fed over the last few decades. The industry needs more people like Leto to play such diverse roles. I could really see myself in the character Morbius, he’s really relatable and fun and quirky. Overall, Morbius is the best cinema experience I’ve ever had and nothing will ever top it. I’ll cherish this memory for the rest of my life, I’ll remember the fabric of the seats and the sweaty atmosphere in the theatre. When Morbius first got on screen, me and the other man who went to watch cheered as loud as we could. I was so lucky to be able to have an almost empty room to see the movie so I wasn’t annoyed by exterior noises while watching. In fact, every time I went to rewatch it now that I think about it, the room was empty. My guess is that everyone was so shocked by Leto’s incredible, revolutionary and profound acting that they had to leave the room. I’m repeating myself, but Morbius is and will always be a true classic, a masterpiece between trash movies from money-hungry studios. When I tell myself I’m watching a movie, Morbius is the kind of cinematic experience I’m waiting for. It was way better than The Batman (2022) and now my favourite movie of all time, a direct cult classic. I’d recommend avidly. 11/10

Sunday. May 29th. The long awaited Marvel legend "Morbius" has finally arrived to cinemas and I think what we got was a film worthy of the "Morbius" name. A once in a lifetime experience. I'm starting to see now. Morbius has had an effect here. But not the one he intended. MORBIUS won't change the past; mine, or anyone else's. We have to become more. People need Morbius. We are all scarred and damaged people. Our scars can destroy us, even after our physical wounds have Morbed. But if we survive them, they can morb us. They can give us the power to endure, and the strength to fight.

14:55, I’ve heard the argument that Matt Smith should have been Morbius instead and I definitely see it. Dude sells being drunk on the power of being a vampire combined with the lingering insecurities brought on by his lifetime of sickness really well.

But Matt Smith didn’t walk around on fake crutches for months therefore he is not as good an actor as Jared Leto AKA the Morb

It was a lovely day and I was enjoying my gluten free salad. Then suddenly a man storms into my backyard, laughing so hard that it was truly frightening. I stepped up to the man and asked him what's so funny. He looked in my eyes and said something like: "it's morbin time". The man turned himself into a morbius, I couldn't believe my eyes, the thing I saw infront of me was a morb. Then I bursted into tears of Joy, it was the most thing I've ever in my entire life

Apparently the Milo thing was because there was another kid named Milo there previously, the spot Lucian was replacing, and I guess Morbin was Milo's friend.... so he just called.... the next kid there Milo....... to either pretend Milo was still alive, OR to tease Lucian that he is gonna die like Milo did. Which...jesus.
