What helps me with writing is to fool myself into locking in! I convince myself I will dilly dally and dilly dally until I stumble upon my dissertation and all that dilly dallying really just makes the locking in that much more bearable. 😅

Do you ever reference your own vlogs when you’re writing? I find speaking my thoughts out loud to a camera helps me look back at my thoughts and capture them for research when they would otherwise be fleeting!

I definitely watch back old clips (a lot which don't make it to KZbin) to remind myself of the thoughts I had! It makes so grateful to have them documented because, like you said, thoughts can be so fleeting!

@@SarahFischerVlogs The Strangely Rhetorical book looks interesting and I think that Belcher’s book might be a good idea since I’m pretty sure I’m going with the three article dissertation option that’s available in my program. I have lit and sociology undergrad degrees, so you’re always saying things that pique my interest! Plus, I find vlogging a really fascinating thing.
