He sounds genuinely excited about riding the Yammy. Like, not just "yeah the bike feels good, etc etc etc," but in his voice he sounds really pleased with the bike. And the blue looks killer. I'm stoked to see what he can do. Tomac/Ferrandis next outdoor season - what a dream team.

I agree. Everyones knows when Eli is on he's unbeatable, but he has moments obviously when he's not dialed in for whatever reason. I'm hoping this move will give him/us more 2017/18 Eli outdoors and 2020 Eli indoors. His racing has inspired my racing(on a very different level obviously)and I always liked his speak softly but carry a big stick attitude, as my grandpa would say.

Eli is the luckiest guy ever. If he had joined Yamaha 2 years ago before STAR took over, he would have been another Webb, Barcia, Plessinger were on the pre-STAR machine. Jumping on their team now is what everyone wants!

Eli tomac is a supremely talented and hard-working individual. He is getting very old for the world of motocross and supercross. A bike change and team change might be refreshing for him. Remember folks this is a sport of contracts most motocrossers do not get any kind of long-term contracts because the average retirement age is usually before 30 years old

He's going after wins & *Yamaha* was more willing to make changes to the bike & he has a great relationship with the suspension I'm still wondering if he talked or rode the *KTM* which picked up *AP* but has had success with *Dungey, Webb* Etc. So we know he didn't go to *KTM* because of rivals because he's going to have a rival at *Yamaha* just wondering how he's felt riding a steel frame. Because *Rodger & KTM* are willing to make massive changes to the bike or used to anyways
@bradsanders69543 жыл бұрын
You saw how easy Eli won on the Kawi when he was in the mood,right? Was the Kawi only good on certain days? I mean he either disappeared off the front,or cruised in 10th. I dont think it was the million dollar Kawi holding him back.

Eli showed he can win by a country mile on the Kawasaki,any time the mood strikes. Or he can flounder last off the line and get a 10th weeks in a row. It all depends on which Eli shows up.

I really don’t care why he changed but I know that answer he gave to the money deal question is going to be no otherwise the hardcore kawi guys are gonna bad mouth him just like Ricky
@emptyclothescrashingcars15723 жыл бұрын
He still has the itch for wins. Every racer on the gate wants to win. This team gives their riders want they want to get the job done. I think we can all agree these guys aren't out on Sundays boasting about their paychecks. At the end of the day I get where you're coming from but for most of these guys the pride of knowing you beat the nations best competition must feel pretty good. Granted the money is still there but you don't go the Superbowl and lose and then right off the bat feel devastated because the lesser income. Hard work and the desire for winning is what gets you there
@super6mx3 жыл бұрын
