“Turd Burglars” 🤣🤣 lovely video mate. You’re getting out, that’s the main thing. The fish will come along in time 👌🎣

I certainly wouldn’t mind catching the fish that grabbed that one! Those marks on the side looked relatively fresh too. I do respect anglers that share the highs AND the lows of their fishing. It’s far too easy for people watching videos to become blinkered thinking that we catch every time we go out. Keep at it though and you’re time will come because those 20’s are in there (I had one myself a week or so back) 👍🏻

I started watching you before you started with the flies, and back then your main lure was a squirrly burt, would love to see you dust them off and give them a cast again
@BlackCountryPiker2 ай бұрын
Honestly Paul, I need to dust them off and re- weight them and get on it

Said this before, you really need a treble stinger on the back of those lures. I bought some after watching your vids about a year and half ago and had the same problem. As soon as I put the stinger on the problem went away.

Last couple of weeks have felt like an absolute slog. Great to see you getting one on the bank. Imagine how much easier it would be just to go golfing 😂 It feels like it's about to get really good though now that the weather is finally dipping down a bit.

You don’t need to catch fish on every video. I post blanking videos. They are still interesting and nice to see. I’d love to get one of those jig flies over here. There’s a sea fish called Kahawai which would smash them I reckon. I get them on soft baits a lot. I’ve got a great video hauling them in somewhere.

Cheers dude, if you send me an address I’ll see if I can get one to you 👍

I know exactly what you smell. No smell outdoors hit higher than autumn in northern Europe. We have those exact same species in our softwood forests here in southern Sweden. Lovely smell that is. Wish pike smelt like that, really. Maybe I'd kiss them then..

What kind of fishing wand do you throw those light jig flies on? What do they weigh wet? Don't use spinning reels, and most of my casting rods are somewhat stiff, a 6'6" 30-80 Zilla Jerkbait rod is my lightest one, only fish for pike, not interested in batfish fishing 😂

I’m using an Abu Garcia 15-45g 9ft vendetta rod. Probably a bit soft to be fair
